Not Russia. Not James Comey. Just Hillary.

Schumer confesses that Hillary is the reason the Democrats lost.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer sent a thinly veiled message to Hillary Clinton, saying that “you blame yourself” if you “lose to somebody who has 40 percent popularity.” Schumer never explicitly mentioned Clinton, but there was little doubt who he was talking about while discussing the broad effort by the Democratic Party to come up with a new messaging strategy ahead of next year’s midterm elections.

“When you lose to somebody who has 40 percent popularity, you don’t blame other things — Comey, Russia—you blame yourself,” Schumer said in an interview with the Washington Post. “So what did we do wrong? People didn’t know what we stood for, just that we were against Trump. And still believe that.” A recent poll found that 52 percent of Americans think the Democratic Party “just stands against Trump” while only 37 percent think it actually “stands for something.”

Clinton has taken responsibility for her loss, although she has also mentioned a variety of factors that contributed to the results in November, including the decision by then-FBI chief James Comey to reopen the investigation into her emails near the end of the campaign. She has also mentioned Russia’s well-reported efforts to affect the outcome of the election.

You are as much of a fool as the orange clown. The issue with Russia has always been about a coordinated campaign to influence the previous election and their intent to do so in the future.

It isn't somehow an attempt to personally attack you and delegitimize your guy.

We're trying to protect the country from foreign manipulation and you are acting like a high school girl who was insulted by her rival. Try looking beyond the end of your nose.

Who is going around claiming that Russia is the reason the Democrats lost? Not anyone that I know. The problem is the OP and others like him struggle mightily with basic concepts like this one. Russia isn't the reason Hillary lost, you could argue they had an effect but no one knows to what extent exactly, but I haven't seen a single person argue that it was solely because of Russia. People are upset because they openly tried to influence our election and it was obvious even at the time that it was going on and the candidate that Russia wanted to help has flatly refused to acknowledge or condemn it. On top of that, he refuses to ever criticize them and seemingly goes out of his way to cater to them. I honestly can't figure out if some of you really are this stupid and can't understand or if you are just so consumed by partisan pettiness that you would rather taunt the other side and scream "witch hunt" like you're a 70-year old mentally ill president on Twitter. Either way, not a good look.

What I do know, though, is that if Russia and Wikileaks had conspired to hack the RNC and released their emails to the public, Hillary won and afterwards it came out that people throughout her campaign were constantly in contact with people with close ties to the Russian government, you guys would be going absolutely INSANE. It would be Benghazi times 100 with investigations and hearings left and right and who knows if she would even still be in office at this point with a Republican-controlled Congress. Somehow classified emails on a private server are an outrageous offense but getting assistance in an election from a foreign adversary and openly praising and working towards the interests of said adversary is just fine. It's hypocrisy of the highest order and the only hope the Republicans have now is that the American public is stupid enough to continue to put up with Trump's 24/7 clown show and who knows, they might well be. Stay tuned.

    Aww aren't you cute...

Trying to legitimize the partisan "investigation" as more than it is. This is a partisan witch hunt plain and simple. Russia will continue to influence every election it can as will the US and every other country where that country thinks it will benefit them.

This is like saying that climate change is somehow more than part of nature.....only the truly deceived will try to legitimize it as anything other than a manipulation tactic.

A "partisan witch hunt" that Trump's own deputy AG appointed a special counsel to investigate. It's pretty amazing how everyone and everything in the world is rigged against a billionaire who is the president of the United States and what's even more amazing is how many fools fall for it.

No one cares if Russia's interference with our elections caused the Dems to lose or not. They care that Russia interfered with our elections, period.

Come on. OP and many others like minded individual care if it cause Dem to lose it not. At the same time, they didn't seem to care that there was interference.. if they are even able acknowledge there was one.

A partisan witch hunt by a Republican FBI director who was fired, a hard right AG and assistant AG, a republican special counsel, and by a Republican intelligence committee.

So I guess you are complaining about the Republicans being partisan against Trump????

Oh, so this is now your story?

    "influence" - please define.

Did Germany "influence" the 2008 election when they allowed Obama to speak in front of an adoring crowd in Berlin?

Did Canada's Trudeau "influence" the 2016 election by openly cheering for Hillary to win, and speak glowingly about her and negatively about Trump?

    You're shifting the goalposts, boys.

Wrong. Hillary uses it as an excuse for losing. Read the article (and next time come with an educated take).

    TIA

It's the TeamFredo school of thought....They colluded, but it's not like it was worth the collusion, so it's A-OK!

Remember the days when Conservatives would be worked up over the thought of lying over a blowjob?

LOL so SamF might've said something like that so just cut out everything else I said and ignore it. This sh*t stain of a post is a microcosm of just how worthless of a poster you are.

Wait, I thought Chuck Schumer was a hack. So, do I now take Schumer's word as Gospel, or do I revert back to not believing anything he says?
