My personal favorite is this one. The pie chunks go perfectly with the sweet black berry & vanilla. And in before "Listeria is the best flavor Jokes."
Most of the time, I'll get cookies and cream. But when they have seasonal flavors, those are pretty good.

Listeria aside, I would never put Blue Bell in my top ice cream brands. It's just meh ice cream, imho... But to each their own!!
I'm not a big Ice cream guy. Listeria aside, it's Cookies and Cream. If I'm eating some kind of dessert in tandem with my ice cream, I prefer the No Sugar Added Vanilla. I know boring.

I don't really have a list. I like the texture of Blue Bell, but just don't find the flavor "authentic". For big name brands, I usually stick with Hagen Daz. You can taste the bean, flavor and simplicity of their recipe much more ... there's lots of crap in Blue Bell. I like Ben & Jerry's for funky stuff but don't really eat that much of it. Then I'll try various smaller brands often ... many are solid, though none really stand out as must repeat purchase. At home, we typically stick to Hagen Daz.
Still Homemade Vanilla for me. I miss those little ice cream sandwiches Blue Bell made with the stuff. They were great and BB hasn't brought them back yet, at least not in Austin. Full disclosure. I've been buying half gallons of Haagen-Dazs vanilla from HEB since Blue Bell had their crisis. It's delicious! We don't eat that much ice cream, so it lasts a long time, unless we have company (or get really, really loaded). Much more expensive, but I've managed to convince myself that it's worth it, so far.
Homemade Vanilla is the only Blue Bell to buy in the store. You use it to put on top of homemade cobbler/brownie/pie whatever. Haagen Daaz? Coffee is the best coffee. Their Dulce de Leche is also solid. It goes really well in shakes or grownup drinks. Ben and J has some great stuff...Bourbon Pecan Pie, Chubby Hubby, Americone Dream, etc....
This. I'll never buy them at a store again. There will be times it's unavoidable since I have kids. But seriously...screw them. HEB Creamy Creations Poteet Strawberry is the best of all time. BEST OF ALL TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's out right now....Ice Cream Cone. Basically a crumbled Drumstick in Vanilla ice cream mixed with chocolate syrup. It's gain-20 lbs-good.
