According to analytics, isn't Harden's post defense elite?

I feel like a lot of players don't understand what analytics is and frequently use it as their scapegoat.

 

I didn't know Harden was any good at Call of Duty

A little hates keeps players humble, but the amount of hate Harden gets is outlandish.

 

Well I don’t know about you but I hate that he’s doing cardio and losing weight during quarantine instead of getting fat and out of shape. It’s setting an unrealistic standard for the rest of us to follow. How selfish of him

 

i hate his birds nest. need to get rid of it as soon as asap.

 

Harden on ball is pretty damn good, especially in the post. Off the ball he gets bored, and lost.

In the playoffs he usually makes all his rotations. Far superior defender to someone like Steph Curry.

 

analytically, you can't just look at numbers. sam hinkie faints.

Been Simmons is doing everything and anything for media access.

 

Depends on how much weight and there are months to go.

Losing too much does not necessarily mean anything good for his post D against heavier players.

 

I feel like being lighter will be beneficial for his game long-term, especially as he hits his mid 30s. Harden has a game that should age really well, but imo he should follow the example of Lebron, Kobe, and now CP3 and be as trim as possible. If he has to sacrifice a bit of post defense for mobility and longevity, I see that as a win.

 

For sure, the thread was about defense that is why.
