    Naked gunman kills four in Nashville Waffle House

    A nude gunman has killed four people at a Waffle House in Nashville in the US state of Tennessee, police say.

    The man burst into the restaurant at 03:25 (08:25 GMT) in the suburb of Antioch and opened fire, reportedly with a semi-automatic rifle.

    Four other people were wounded. A customer wrestled the weapon from the man, who then fled the scene on foot.

    Police are hunting for the suspect, whom they identified as Travis Reinking, 29, from Illinois.

    The gunman arrived in his pick-up truck, shot people outside the restaurant before firing more shots inside, Nashville police spokesman Don Aaron said.

    Police also say he was naked except for a green jacket, which he shed as he left the scene.

    He was armed with an AR-15 rifle, a weapon commonly used by mass shooters in the US, media reports say.

    Similar rifles were used in the Las Vegas shooting last October that killed 58 people, and the Florida school attack in February that left 17 students and staff dead.

    Debate over gun control intensified following the Florida shooting, with mass protests and school walkouts across the country demanding stricter legislation in recent weeks.

    (CNN) - Anthony Mele was dining at a steakhouse in Southern California with his daughter on his lap when a homeless man allegedly walked up to him Wednesday and stabbed him in the neck.

    Jamal Jackson, 49, was arrested shortly after the attack in Ventura and has been charged with premeditated first -degree murder, the Ventura County District Attorney's Office said.

    Dumb jokes aside, I hope people will watch the recent press conference with the hero speaking about his action. It's pretty humbling and moving. Nerves of steel, but he's not especially proud -- he thought it was the only way to survive.

    be murderous dictators trying to rule the world. A small/petite person with a “Nepoleonic” complex.

    Ban all guns.....then they make bombs. Ban all bombs......then they make running over people in crowds more
    prominent......then we ban all cars??

    Guns will be stolen from those allowed to have them......or found on the black market. I’m fine with banning
    assault rifles or bump stocks.....but people better not be fooled to think that ends violence. To many already
    in circulation. Current weapons can be jimmy-rigged in any homemade workshop.

    It’s futile.


    Coup d’etat using the U.S. military won’t meet up with too much resistance. Well trained military nations stand
    little chance vs the U.S. military. Navy has laser technology to shoot plains out of the sky...smart bombs and
    drones allow personnel to stay out of harms way. Civilians with about 300 assault weapons have no chance.

    So the moral of the story is it’s futile to try to confiscate all weapons from the public masses. Our military is
    an overwhelming beast.

    And it’s futile to try to hold on to assault weapons by “Joe Public” to try to thwart a military coup.


    Main thing of concern is not letting a political party weaponize the C.I.A. and FBI while degrading the
    nations police forces in an attempt to replace them with national guards or military police.

    Didn't even see the thread as the OP is a mindless troll. As to the story, it's good that someone stepped up and stopped the guy, not sure why you'd think I'd be upset by that...but it probably says a lot of bad things about you.
