'Whataboutism' is not actually a thing that anyone should feel the need to take seriously. Just FYI.

 

You should read the actual page 9 of the report (page 17 of the pdf) and compare what the report says to Barr’s statement that there was no evidence that the trump campaign colluded with Russia. And then try to say he has been nonpartisan.

The only people that could clearly fire the Special Counsel were the AG and the Deputy AG. Perhaps Trump could have himself, but that would not have made sense. Instead, he could have just installed an AG who was willing to do it. But of course none of this ever happened.

The point is, Trump's lawyer was not in the Special Counsel's chain of command and did not have the authority to fire the Special Counsel. That is a fact.

 

Another barr lie today. He said trump fully cooperated with the investigation. That's not true, as trump refused to give live testimony, and even in the written responses he refused to respond to any questions re: obstruction.

 

Not a lie, but note that barr carefully quoted the report to put the best possible spin for trump, ignoring a critical part of the finding...
