It's also making the Twitter posts load slower too. On Android chrome, if you stop the page load when the loading bar goes nuts downloading the bad ad, the messages pop up right after. Terrible user experience

I'm having this same problem with increasing frequency. This ad seems to be one of the problematic ones. The browser focuses on the ad and doesn't allow you to move away from it.
I used firefox focus with success, but it was too barebones for me. It's a pretty good spook browser, imo. Haven't seen android chrome issues for a month now, so maybe it was fixed or the ad cycled out
It's bad on safari now. Used safari for 10 years and now had to migrate to Chrome with Adblocker just to use CF
I spoke of the devil and jinxed muh phone. Might have to go back to Firefox Focus. I trust it more as a company than the one that made Chrome with Adblocker.
It got so bad while viewing on my xbox this morning I couldn't finish reading a sentence. It was like that all day til about a hour ago.
