Yeah... not a fan of this dude on the roster. He's short-tempered with the younger guys on the court (like Hartenstein) and passed the ball with 2 seconds to go on the clock to avoid getting a turnover from the shot clock violation. That would piss me off if I were his teammate.

He isn't talented enough to have such an inflated ego. Anyone else notice this?

    shrug...don’t really care tbh

he’s decent as a 4th guard on a vet min deal...I have no issues with him

I did notice him pass the ball with like a second left. Doesn’t that count as a team turnover and not a individual turnover?

Looks like it was a team turnover... but I'm guessing Austin Rivers wouldn't have known that considering he passed it off anyway.

Lol chill. Players always toss the ball to
rookies to get the turnover. Even though it’s a team turnover and I’m pretty sure every player knows that by now.

Everyone is a body language doctor when the team isn't doing well...honestly, we have more pressing issues than Austin freaking River's body language.

    This

It’s just rookie hazing @jacoby . Earlier in the year, Clemons made WorldWideWob fame with how he handled it

Ignore vid...it’s not a personal turnover ... that’s part of the hazing to see if rookies know that

Also, Rivers took a great team friendly deal this off season (easy to assume he had better offers) and it's great to have him

I love me some Austin Rivers. Will always be a fan. Wanted to play in Houston and did the Rockets a big favor by signing for almost nothing. Great guy.

Rivers is a real one. There was a game earlier in the season in garbage time he called a play to get Clemons a 3 point shot. remember this team has no plays. You're mistaken, Austin is probably coaching the children because MDA refuses to.

And MDA cuts his minutes in favor of BMAC. BMAC plays in the 4th instead of Austin now. I'm surprised he hasn't had a worse reaction to be honest.

It’s given me a Spanish vibe, but it could be Italian?

Honestly there is a video about this when players pass off the ball to a teammate with 2 seconds left in order to not have a turnover. It has to do because of their contract salary is structured. James Harden and Russell Westbrook have been doing this for years. Other top stars do this also.

What is weird is that Austin Rivers has a low salary, maybe he wants a bigger contract next year, to get his turnovers down.
