I was more curious how Major knew this offhand in a throwaway comment but I really think you are confused on use of percentages in written form and what they meant in our posts mathematically.

To be fair to Nick, I worded it poorly. I happened to get lucky on your correct interpretation, but I was thinking of it more in percentages in my head when I wrote it.

Were you speaking of totals and not per capital %'s?

The plant will more than likely be in Williamson County, Round Rock. Adler isnt going to give away to much tax base and his employment demands for any incentive will push Tesla into Wilcos arms.

There's no "where" they can put it in Travis. Of course it will end up in Williamson or whatever ****off south/west/east county. Depends on who gives them the most cheese. That guy looooves free government money, he's up to billions of it at this point.

Anywhere off 130 is a good spot inside of Travis county

my guess would be east of 130 and south of manor. or in the pflugerville area, east of 130. off cameron road.

amazon is building a 4 million square foot distribution center in pflugerville just west of 130. wouldnt surprise me to see tesla go in there too.

There's a massive master planned community going in just south of Manor on 130 also.

I believe that was for the battery factory that never came to fruition (ended up in Nevada). Could be wrong.

Doesn't building a place around there defeat the purpose of the "coolness" factor of being in Austin?

    Suburbs are suburbs, right?

I say down 79...between Hutto and Taylor. They are builing a large new toll road that goes through 79 and down to 130.

So much is going in around that area and the Hutto Square area is looking pretty nice, once Perfect Game goes in and the related businesses Hutto is going to quickly expand further. I missed this Toll road information, thou I havent been touching print lately and rarely check community impact online.
