    That’s me lol.

Hopefully the team listens. With Union Station, The Plaza & Biggio/Bagwell statues, and now Hall of Fame alley, a physical Hall of Fame building would be the perfect bookend compliment for the Cawford side of the ballpark.

There’s a ton that could go into a Hall of Fame building. I suggested a pre-MLB Buffs exhibit in addition to Astros history, as well as covering Astrodome & uniform history, given Mike Acosta’s knowledge on this. Basically, make it a Houston baseball history museum.

Nice! I like a lot of those suggestions you made on that threat. Especially the one about putting some sort of brewery area up in that dead space behind the RF foul pole. Not sure if the structural/architectural logistics would work but it would be a pretty sweet area.

Love this. The idea of a team hall of fame is way better that over-retiring jersey numbers. They should relaunch the whole jersey retirement and implement this criteria: 1) must be a HOFer or fringe HOFer, and 2) must have spent the majority of their career with the Astros. At this point, only Biggio, Bagwell, and Ryan should have their numbers retired. The rest can go into the team Hall of Fame. The only current Astro I can see meeting this criteria would be Altuve.

Love your idea about the visiting pen. I've been saying for years that a taller version of the Crawford boxes should be extended to HR pump to get rid of that funky corner. Could have field level seating as you suggested although I think a field level bar would be popular as well.

Nolan Ryan was only here 9 of his 26 years, so one of your 3 doesn't even qualify. :)

Shane Reynolds? But, no Cesar Cedeno?

    Really?

What kind of hall of fame is this?

Completely illegitimate until Bill Doran is featured prominently.

Not a fan of retiring numbers. A better approach would be to "honor" a player's number, by not assigning it to another player for a generation (like 25 years).

Cedeno, on the heels of the Me Too movement and the back lash of trading for Osuna?

Umbricht & Reynolds shouldn't be there.

Here are my suggestions to build this thing to last:
    • Get testimonials from famous people to talk about their experience watching each player, like Denzel, Brad Pitt.
    • Listen in: Record inside conversations of the lockeroom and the dugout - take fans behind the scenes
    • Hit Mikes Scott's Split Finger, Joe Niekro's nuckle ball, Nola Ryan's fastball, and Keuchels Curve.
    • Add spy cameras where you can listen in to people in other wings of the Astros museum talking about players
    • How far can you spit a sunflower seed
    • Hang Astro cleats from a wire across the ceiling.
    • Opening Day 3-D Experience from each decade
    • Part of the museum should go outside
    • Create an Astros Siri that you ask questions
    • Have a direct war with Braves fans, via a speaker, where freely trash talk the Braves museum visitors
    • Serve Astro colored and inspired foods
    • Create a fan dashboard or twitter wall. Personalize the experience by having a wall of fan testimonials.
    • Get funny stories from teammates on video
    • Astros Pets Wing
    • Offer Lecture series from former Astros
    • Sounds of baseball wing
    • Add high quality interesting photos of Astros
    • Maybe have a window to the bullpen
    • Have Secret Speak Easy with Astro Liquor
    • Make the plaques interactive
    • Add a graveyard of dead Astros - funny tombstones
    • Have an Envision the Future Hall
    • Every Astros Bat Hall ( Yes, you can buy one too )
    • And for little kids, hit Lima's fastball.
    • Have an Astro globe depicting where every Astro came from, and when you click on it, you see the house they grew up in.
    • Have astros hip hop rap wing
    • Photos in each of the uniforms
    • Zapruder Films of former AStros doing bad bad things
    • Old News Paper Headlines from the 70's
    • Have a giant waterfall fountain in the Astros colors
    • Have an AStro Medical Wing, with gruesome injury xrays like the Finley's bells palsey swatches
    • Roving mascots
    • Astro first order relics
    • Kate Upton Wing.
