Everyone is assembling a team to try to beat us. The Angels got Shohei Ohtani and the Yankees got Giancarlo Stanton. Everyone who wants it can come get it. See y’all in 2018.
That would make us the Warriors of the MLB using your own analogy. Also the Astros don't lie down in the playoffs so no.
Every year, someone wins the WS and teams try to assemble a team to beat them. What do the Rockets have to do with it?
Because rockets are an amazing team that can win it this year. Hater much? Stay in the mlb forum you fool
Look, I think the Rockets are the best and want them to win it all, but they are not the clear favorites like Golden State. Other teams (including the Rockets) have assembled to beat them, not us. Most of this was done in the offseason when people were still writing us off. I'm happy we currently have the best winning percentage but that can change in the course of 2 games. It's nothing like the lead the Astros had at the beginning of last season.
Can you name an NBA team that has "assembled a team" or even made a move to try to compete with the Rockets? That was your original claim.
I have noticed that too. I was listening to Los Angeles sports radio after the World Series, they were super butthurt, the California snowflake tears were awesome. Then I put my iHeartRadio app on the random sports radio stations option. It would change everyday, or you can set it to change every couple of hours. I was listening to Dallas, Detroit, Washington, Boston, New Orleans, just all kinds of damn cities it was pretty cool. I wish I'd found that option earlier. Anyways, there were people that were calling in talking about the World Series, and I would say about 85% of the calls were positive for the Astros. People loved their attitude, their passion, and people were talking about how you could sense that the guys really cared about each other and cared about winning. However, there was this one lady that said they were "America's Team", that reminds me too much of the Cowgirl so I was like nah... fk that, lol. They were giving them all kinds of props, it was pretty awesome, and actually kind of weird to hear... I freaking love it though!
