Yeah haha..that would easily make us the favorites to win it all but then everyone would leave for more money the next season.
[Jeff Goldbloom] It would SEEM, that ah, (adjusts glasses) something, is... (coy shrug) HAPPENING? [/Goldbloom]
Nothing ever since he got to Oakland he’s been crazy. Starting with showing up in hot air balloon, getting frostbite through cryotherapy, threatening to retire over a helmet, putting gm on blast for fining him for missing camp, and fighting with gm in practice. Dunno how Pittsburgh hid this soo well. There is something wrong with him and there’s is 0 chance O’Brien who wants absolute control would ever sign him.
The Raiders failed to make sure AB got enough attention for: arriving to camp in a hot air balloon, sneaking in a super off-the-books homemade painted helmet, napping & social media'ing through meetings, freezer burning his feet so he couldn't participate, continuing to no-show after his feet healed while fighting the helmet rule- while the org. supported his cause throughout; then ridiculing the org. with his helmet endorsement deal to repay them for having supported him through that fight (karma!), then publicly mocking the org's private communications, physically threatening the GM in front of the team... If the raiders would have just responded with a little more positive energy to all of the above, we wouldn't be here.
Why is it always WRs that are the headcases? We've really been lucky to have AJ and Hopkins both be so great and also so low-key.
Because they grew up watching guys like Deion, TO, Chad Johnson, and those were the guys they talked about on ESPN on mondays
AB may have a drug problem. He has never been this erratic. It seems like he is purposely self destructing. I have to admit that the thought of adding him crossed my mind briefly because of his insane talent, but he is not worth the risk. He would obliterate the locker room the first or second time that D Hop received more targets. If Bill O is as desperate to win now as has been reported, i wouldn't put it past him to at least kick the tires on this. It would turn the Texans into an all out Freak Show.
Lol. O’Brien couldn’t handle whatever drama Clowney may or may not have brought to the team. No way in hell he would have the patience for Brown’s act.
