These protests happen on a somewhat regular basis. Where have they led?

I know...it's different this time because Dear Leader says so (or likely will in a barrage of twits overnight while gorging himself on Big Macs and KFC).

    i will take a guess here ...

1-a few Basij agents planted as protestors chant something to show their pro Israel agendas
2-Basej punish the traitors and wipe all other protestors with excessive forces
    3-rinse and repeat when necessary
    4- yawn

It has been known for a long time that there is a size able amount of young people in Iran that are not happy with their style of oppressive government. Further there have been a number of protests over the years without success.

We will see... just be careful what you wish for. We heard about how wonderful it was when Iraq fell from Republicans, and how wonderful it was when Syrians protested from Democrats and how great it was when Libya collapsed.

There are enormous costs and unforeseen consequences locally and globally when a nation implodes or collapses. This is certainly true of a nation like Iran in the Middle East.

Only a fool sees this as good. And you are a fool of fools.

Iran's political structure was changing and modernizing. Now in an economic hard time idiots like you think civil unrest will lead to regime change. It will not. At worst it will be another Syria. At best, Iran will clamp down hard and double down on radicalism - and you think that is a good thing?

Iranians have come to the realization that there will never be moderation in that regime. Right now the people are protesting the so called moderate president, Rohani. Iranians want to move away from theocracy in exchange for a more secular nationalist government. This regime is on the verge of collapse because every social class in Iran is fed up and the regime apologists can be quiet.

What an amazing president. He's won North Korea and Iran in less than 2 years.

    Yay.

Energy Secretary Rick Perry is kicking off the World Gas Conference today at DC; along the way,
he has been pushing US allies (EU), Canada, China, Mesico and others not to buy any oil from Iran

in the wake of the Trump-induced Tariff, the Trump tax,
it doesn't take a genius to figure out what the answer will be

effectively, the self-proclaimed great negotiator, the dotard-in-chief, has sent Perry on a suicide mission
