They wear guns to intimidate... they aren’t the first radical extremist group to do it and won’t be the last. As for Antifa, I wish them a slow and painful death.

 

I disagree that they do so to intimidate given that those I was talking about carry concealed, not open. I know the types you are talking about and I would agree about them. I think the specific group involved and their leader Joey Gibson get a bit of a bad rap, they often get called "Alt-Right" or "far right" and that's not really true. I mean, Joey Gibson himself is mixed, so being part of the Alt-Right is sort of out of the question.

Anyway, the day I see those guys attack journalists, police, or even Antifa unprovoked or the day that I see them pushing for an ethnostate or for white nationalist BS is the day I'll agree with the things said about them. I just haven't seen any of it yet. For the most part they just show up looking to either march or to talk with those who then attack them. Sure they beat the **** out of Antifa when they are attacked, but I think it takes more than that to make them an extremist group. As best I can tell they are just a free speech and anti-Antifa group that I've never seen initiate violence.

Now obviously I don't have perfect information, so I'd be open to changing my mind if someone knows better than I do on the subject.
