we go 2-14..sometimes you have to take a step backwards to go forwards..

get a high draft pick..draft qb..
    cut schaub and fire kubiak..
start case next season..see what he can do..if not ..start rookie..

    fingers crossed..

    go rockets..

    I'd rather go 2-14 than 8-8.

I don't see a 2-14, maybe a 6-10 and with that Mr. Mcnair will dust off the "we got off tgo a bad start but later in the year there were signs of life, I think we're on the right track"

And noone's fired based on that... now who wants season tickets? I do, I do too me too cha-ching $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I'd rather go 2-14 than 8-8. I will say that. If there is a chance to still make the playoffs you have to go for it and take your chances by hoping to get hot. If they lose next week I'd say it's a lost season.

We already are an embarrassment, winning a few extra games wont make people respect us.

You don't have to bottom out in the NFL to get good again.

The regime transition will be more important to what type of players they look to draft, rather than simply draft position.

Likewise, there are high first round busts every season... while pro-bowlers can be found throughout the draft, provided you're not drafting TE's and kickers in high rounds.

I think good prospects will be available across the board. I say that because there are simply so many QBs entering the draft. The sheer volume means some players will be pushed down.

With that out of the way. If the Texans lose ten or eleven games, not only will their first round pick be high, but so will their second, and that gives them the option of addressing another need in the first and drafting an arm with their high second round pick.

If all of this piss poor football equates to a new rookie QB drafted at the front of the first round, I'd say alls well that end well.

The only thing I hope is that fans stop attending (ya right).

And those that do wear bags over their head.

ANYTHING to get Mcnair to wake the hell up. This organization is going NOWHERE.

It took two years and a season ending neck surgery to Peyton for this franchise to finaly have some confidence and a winning mentality after all the losing it suffered since it's inception, and now it took them only 6 games to go back to square one. SMH

The magic number is 6 . Two more loses and we can kiss the season good bye. If Kubes can get the fire lit then he can live another season. 10-6 gets ya in.
On the bright side those Houston Rockets looking pretty good.

hmm i would parlay high pick (2-5) to not so high pick (2 first) and see if you an get clowney (hopefully he falls) and manziel dream world i know but that would be ideal.

    Watt and Clowney = GG

yup that's a mcnair quote...the guy is annoying. Fans keep filling up the seats regardless because of their thirst for football and he won't be pressured to make any serious changes.

i yearn for 2-14 at this point.

guarantees kubiak will be fired, and ensures us either boyd, manziel, bridgewater, or mariota.

    kubiak has to go.

2-14 gets a coach fired in Houston. That's all I have to say.

Doubt the Texans lose to the Jaguars twice. Not happening unless they intentionally tank while making it look obvious.

4-12 or 5-11 is more likely. I'll take that over 8-8 for sure.
