Well... there's still plenty of time but it's somewhat surprising that neither Altuve or Correa lead at their positions.

is ok.I know a couple of soviet comrades to push this votes.

Tuve, Correa, Marwin, Giles, Dallas and Hinch should represent when it's all said and done.

Looking at those numbers, I'm most surprised by Yuli being among the top 5 at his position and having more votes than Springer or Beltran.

    Cuban votes count.

Just shows you other than Altuve most ppl don't even know who's on our team. Or the Astros don't have many fans?

Not surprised Lindor leads Correa. I'm surprised Lindor leads Correa by THAT much, though...

Its surprising that hes the 3rd leading vote getter, behind only Trout(understandable) and Aaron Judge(media)

I mean hes good and his name is getting around a little bit but hes no household name in the least.

He had a great year and a very good postseason; his team played in a hyped-up, heavily-viewed World Series. So it shouldn't be that surprising.

All-Star voting happens too early. It should be starting June 1st, IMO.

Jean Segura is hitting .345 and has little chance of being an all-star.

The good news is Manny Machado is the only vote leader who is undeserving of being an all-star this year.

I am all in favor of the 'stros getting recognized for their awesome seasons and all that, but part of me would be just as happy them not making it, getting the time off, avoiding even the slightest chance of injury, and avoiding any possible bad game that might hurt their performance over the rest of the season. Much prefer having five or six candidates for World Series MVP... :)

We need everyone to vote! None of our guys are leading their positions. That's nuts!!!

I've always thought it stupid to have these type of games before the Championships, just like the stupid Pro Bowl, where the best players opt out for risk of injury. I completely feel the same way, but want our guys recognized for their awesome performances. If anyone got injured though, it would be a shame. You never know about dirty pitchers either, especially ones holding a grudge.

One great game and now Springer has to enter the conversation.

Disingenuous meme. If voting ended today, Altuve, Correa, Keuchel and 1 or two others would all make the all star team.
