Long story short is quality over quantity; they spend much more time in the process than other AS shows will take. Terrific special! Favorite moments: Dr. Mrs. confronts "Jonas," Hank telling the dealer to "put it all on black" in a poker game, and, of course... Spoiler "Not you." A real pleasure seeing the show back. I can't believe it's been so long. Who knows when we'll get any more, but as long as there's hope, I'll keep waiting. It's worth it.
I have a question about the last episode before this special... Spoiler Didn't rusty die when that disco ball fell on him or did I miss something?
Season 6 in the Fall. No Thaddeus didn't die, I guess you missed the very last episode of S5 that has Dr. Mrs. the Monarch putting him back together and setting up this special which was intended as the S5 finale.
It's as Torn says. Dr Mrs and the Monarch had Venture tied up at their house in the finale. Don't know how you missed that episode, haha
i don't know either! found it on youtube, about to watch. i did think it was a funny way to end the series with venture just dying like that though after everything else they've been through.

Oh man, that looks great. Funny how much better the animation has gotten over the past... what’s it been? 90 years or whatever.
Well they aren't like other AS shows, they have to redesign the show with each season. And unlike other shows the characters have grown over time and matured as people and in their drawn design. I think starting with S3 they went to HD and that changed things also...
