I fully support the pettiness of a two-word e-mail reply. Especially when those two words are "F***" and "You." The memes. Oh, the memes.
I don't support the message Woj is supporting if that helps, but I think it has to do with free speech, even if its foul in nature. That being said, he was definitely wrong in attacking the message and the politician who spoke it.
One F---u in an email is not as strong as saying to their face. It's a short reaction that he does not agree. Traditionally one is more level headed when writing things.
It's a business email man. Even if you have free speech the company has the right to fire you if you send something like that via your business email.
Ya free speech has nothing to do with this, nobody is trying to put him in jail as far i know (granted, i don't even know or care what he's talking about, or to who), but he absolutely should've been fired as anyone else would.
Do you have a job? Because I don't think anyone's employer will be okay with using profanity in work emails. Heck, I got called in once for CAPITALIZING a word for emphasis. Someone thought I was having an attitude.
That Senator should be legislating instead of whining about things he can't directly control. We're knee deep a political cesspool of American issues and he's looking to score cheap points without acting over things he's directly responsible for.
Do you have any reading skills? Because if you did you would acknowledge that I already agreed with this pointed out by others. Read all the posts before being rude.
I don't care if you addressed it. I am directly quoting your freedom of speech argument. Good on you to accept it later on in the thread.
You are directly quoting old posts so you can be tough on the internet. Get over yourself and learn some manners.
OK edgelord, have you actually read the Hawley letter? In it he asks "Is the NBA prepared to allow its players to wear phrases in support of the United States, the American military, and U.S. law enforcement personnel, such as “God Bless America,” “Support Our Troops,” or “Back the Blue”?" How out of touch do you have to be to think NBA players would demand to put "Back the Blue" on their jersey? How offensive is it? In fact this letter suggests Hawley hasn't watched a full NBA game in his entire life. Morey would want nothing to do with that hogwash. Don't go full r****d.
Woj has been the best NBA reporter, hands down. I'll stand with him 24/7. Morey is smart enough to save his own hide.
