Klay Thompson kinda money? I know he's a good player but is he really worth that much ? Makes the Ariza deal a steal for us.
He's solid, but is he really worth that much? I know the cap is increasing, but still. Weird. This whole cap raise thing is just crazy.
Yes he is. I expected a 3 year full max. Hes only 23 one of the best shooters and wings defenders. I cant believe he agreed at 5 years.
He's a very good defender. His defensive stats last regular season were better than Iguodala's and Kawhi's.
Who he play for? I'd like to claim I follow the NBA pretty closely and know most players... That said I've never heard of Khris Middleton or ever seen him play.
14 mil a year is a pretty solid deal. Cap is going up by 30% soon, then by 60% even (compared to current cap), so that 14 mil will be more like 9 mil now. He can defend multiple positions, he can really shoot from everywhere, he can finish at the basket. On top of it, he's young. I think this deal will look like a steal for Milwaukee in later years, unless he gets injured or something.
I dont want to seem like a homer or anything but if you took klay thompson and middleton and switched them teams this year i wouldnt be surprised if the other guy was the allstar.hes the only one who can shoot in all the lineup and often double and triple teamed and still has great efficiency. Ofc klay is amazing and a star not doubting that. But mids is pretty pretty good too. Hes a younger taller wesley matthews. If he can work this year some more on his handles so he can create more that will really help him elevate his game. Middleton is the reason we traded knight.
Efficient on offensive and good defender. Also pretty clutch..he had 2 or 3 buzzerbeating gamewinners this past season.
$9m by my calculations, but it is definitely a lot more palatable than you guys think The best part is, that it gets even better as the cap goes up
Two years from now it will be universally understood that Middleton is underpaid. Good for the Bucks. Morey called Middleton the new no stats all star too.
