These are the threads that make CF fun!! I don't even need to goto the national media, the pessimism is right here!!

Anyway, these threads age badly, so I'll say 5 chips. Well 1 will be good too, go team!

Harden and Westbrook are literally the only members of the team. James plays one game 1-on-5, and Russ plays the next game. Load management. They score an average of 110 pts per night. Perpetual 4th seed.

We will have traded Westbrook + our 2030 first round pick for CP3; Harden + our 2032 first round pick for Steph Curry...
... assuming the CBA is similar to the current one.

Rockets are most likely to gradually decline in the next 5 years. Let's face it, our best days are behind us. This era peaked in 2017/2018. James and Russ are getting older. Our roster continues to be depleted. Tilman would rather save money than acquire talent. Morey will get pissed and either leave himself or get fired. Tilman will then hire a GM that is on board with his money-saving preferences.

And tickets in 107 and similar sections will still be heavily overpriced.

Harteinstein will be our starting center and we'll be hoping that the FRP we acquired in the Harden deal will land at #1 so we can draft Bronny James

I think we'll be 2-3 years into a rebuild 5 years from now.

Well, Kawhi was 15th and also Giannis was a 15th pick.

    Kirby Brynt was 13th pick.

The ROCKET have NO COACH...Fire him TODAY...ROCKETS NEED A "TEACHER COACH"... NEVER HAD NO YET
    1. worse Bench
    2. ALWAYS the wrong match-ups
3 exhausting the Starters by tooo min
    4. has no clue why he would ever call a TIMEOUT
    5. NO Plays for inbounds or last 2min
    6. DOES NOT have the BALLS to tell Hardin to stop shooting..

FIRE DANTONI NOW ..........we might make the playoffs the ROCKETS have NO Team Unity or Leadership...

Westbrook is taking more SHOTS THAN HARDIN.. WHOSE TEAM IS THIS!!!

ROCKETS SHOULD HAVE FIRED DANTONI LAST YEAR...DANTONI... IS ABSOLUTELY CLUELESS IN 4-QUARTER STRATEGY TO WIN... SO WE LOSE, WE GET OUT COACHED... EVERY TIME...

    ROCKETS NEED A CHESS PLAYER....NOTA, A DANTONI'S MINELESSNESS...

POPOVICH WOULD WIN A CHAMPIONSHIP WITH THIS TEAM, THIS YEAR!!!

THE ROCKETS, HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE EXCEPT THIS YEAR AND NEXT YEAR AND WHO WILL GET INJURED NEXT, FROM TOOO MANY GAME MINUTES!!!!!

THAT STRATEGY COST THE ROCKETS YAO AND MUTUMBO, TO END THEIR CAREERS.....BOTH TOOO MANY MINUTES

WHAT DID THAT DO TO THE ROCKETS???

To me, it's a "reload" deal while James is playing. Let's face it, Daryl has succeeded in accomplishing the seemingly impossible task he was charged with by Les. To completely eschew a rebuild...and become a contender. (though the %'s favored one... and he would have done a great job) He's positioned us for a title with Yao and, with Harden. (see Yao's injury vs LA & NBA League office/injury vs. GS)In both cases, we were pitted against a historical beast of a team.

    Do.Not.Underestimate.Daryl Morey!

And don't underestimate what we have now.

Westbrook should be coming into clearer focus for many now. (reference the last 20 games) Admit it, this guy's got a lot more left in the tank than you thought....and has been willing to adjust his game.

EG has just now gotten healthy/up to speed, and so has his shot.

James looks to be hurt out there. I guess we'll see if he continues to play through it, or sits for awhile.

Obviously, we need a couple of forwards...a temporary personnel issue exists...one a logical person would assume will be addressed via buyout or trade....in the midst of the season...like they said. Not studs...just pieces.
Once we have what we need in place for awhile, with guys playing their role, the Rockets should be right there in the Wild West. Especially seeing as this is a team that's played it's best against the best.

So, continue to hammer away on Tilman, and worry about MDA all you want, but this season's not over.

Dallas is a big market. I really feel zion once developed will leave New Orleans. But team has the chance to become very very good with the amount of talent they have. Morant I’m not sure about

This is the time to buy...the bottom as to this bunch. We're below James's normal support levels due to to his health, RW's health/acclimation, EG's health, PJ's health, personnel moves (forwards) to made while in motion(DUE TO THE LEAGUE OFFICE AND THE NATURE OF RELOADING ON THE RUN), and a strong Wild West....The role players will fit so well in the flow with a complete team. Lots of upside from here.

The fact that noone has ran off and hidden in the West while we get where we need to be reassures me..

We don't need as much as some of you might think.

Pray that we win a title so that Tilman can immediately thereafter flip the Rockets at a profit.

So what you're saying is, we need to either trade up for the 13th pick or down for the 15th pick...
