Why should OB show his hand? If they are trying to trade Kahlil, you don’t say that. U want to keep his value high as possible.

Show of hands. How many here think that Kahlil will make it to halftime in his first game un-injured?

For unexplainable reasons, I think the Offensive line might not be as "offensive" as first thought. We will soon find out. One thing, they are really big. AND, I have a sneaking suspicision that one more is coming.

I predicted an IR stash for him a while back, and reiterated it again today in my 53 man roster prediction @HoustonPress https://t.co/S86bmbeT49

I think even if he had a full camp, he had a ways to go developmentally.

Best thing today was the DL vs OL 1 on 1s and 2 on 2s:

Max Scharping anchored & Joel Heath couldn't move him.

DJ Reader drove Nick Martin back with ease.

Carlos Watkins was more than Zach Fulton could handle.

Rod Johnson nicely handled Whitney Mercilus

Lamar Miller was running with no wasted movements and knifing thru the defense today.

He looks fresh and ready for a big year

Haven't been able to watch any preseason games, but have watched the highlights on youtube. Scharping looks pretty dang good at guard so far. Seems to anchor well. Howard looks much better at guard than tackle so far. That's just my take from watching a few clips, not sure if that's how everyone else feels. Can anyone give me a breakdown on how our two rookies are doing?

I really don't see how Kalil could have any value in a trade. If he had any value at this point he would have been signed to a longer term deal than he was. You'd also want to get him some game reps in the preseason to put out some good tape if you wanted to trade him.

My guess is a combination of injury and wanting to see more of the young guys before cut day.

Is Fuller hurt already?! We have too many fragile players.

I'm sure it's "precautionary" but these guys would make the First Team "Missed Practice" team.

    Jadeveon Clowney
    Aaron Colvin
    Keke Coutee
    Will Fuller
    Matt Kalil
    Nick Martin
    Kahale Warring

"Brian there was no way for us to account for all the early injuries and not having a general manager, it really set us back. Still I am proud of how we fought those last 4 weeks of the season. Next year I am sure we will be better able to compete with DeShaun and Watt both having more experience"
