Giannis. He is much more mobile and has the ability to run the floor. I would put him at the 4. If we had him in the rockets system: Capela Gianis Tucker more upside?
He brought the best out of the Hawks, and he took them to the Eastern conference finals. The Hawks were good until Dwight Howard got there, and ruined their chemistry.
Love Embiid. But it's Giannis and it's an easy choice. Embiid got exploited by Al Horford in the playoffs last year. I think that Embiid will have a great career, but I also think a long term investment in huge centers in 2019 is generally a bad idea.
Do you think if they meet in the playoffs Giannis will win the battle? I dunno if the Bucks can get past the 76ers . . . and not because of one game Rocket River
Giannis will win the one-on-one comparison for sure, but Philly's starting lineup is insane so I am not eager to bet against them in any playoff series.
Tough. Giannis can get to the rim with incredible ease (and finishes with insane efficiency), but he shoots threes like sh*t. Embiid can shoot threes well only if you compare him to other bigs, but his skill at the basket is old school post-up where he's above average. But Giannis shoots too many mid-range shots. Of Embiid's midrange, he shoots better than Giannis. So, Embiid is my choice.
It was closer than I thought though Embid 13.7 Rebs 27.5 pts 1.9 blks 3.5 ast Giannis 12.5 rebs 27.4 pts 1.5 blks 5.9 ast I cannot honestly say Giannis is measurably better than Embiid Rocket River
Honestly .. . . I am pulling back on the 76ers but I cannot give the bucks much credit for beating a Blake-less Pistons Rocket River
Giannis is def better. Embiid is hobbled up he will have a shortened career like Yao Ming. Hell he might not even last longer than Yao I predict he will have to shut it down within 5 years. Health is a skill too you may ne the best player ever it doesn't matter if you can't play.
I have to go with Giannis even if I put health aside. If this were the 90's I'd definitely pick Embiid.
Giannis will continue to be more durable, just an opinion. Giannis is his own man, Embiid a cheap knockoff of Hakeem.
Giannis due to versatility. He's better perimeter-ly due to more quickness, agility, and handles... plus, he ain't weak. He was blocking Embiid's ass a couple weeks ago. They're both awesome players though, so neither answer is obvious or a landslide.
