Love this pick and Lonnie Johnson.

Get Singletary in the third and I'm happy, even with a first round pick I didn't like.

Scharping should be a week one starter at right tackle.

We've got some lineman with lots of room to improve. Davenport has potential. Howard has lots of potential. Rankin can kick inside and be a decent guard. Martin should improve. Scharping should be good enough.

And that's not including the vets. Our line is shaping up. Hopefully all those young guys will continue to improve and gel.

This is my best pick as far as position, value, and talent. He was the best OT available IMO. No way he would have made it to the 3rd round.

We’ve got plenty of bodies at O-Line now. Let’s start the best 5 regardless. Should be a lot of competition going on. Fulton & Martin probably the only locks? Hopefully Rankin can take a year two jump. Coaching or lack there of is a huge factor too.

Yeah, love this pick. Like it better than our first rounder actually.

I feel pretty good about lining up 5 guys that average 6'5" 320 lbs. across the O line. (grow up Martin you midget) We won't get out sized.
The competition should be crazy intense for the starting jobs week 1, though you'll probably need all 8 of them through the year. I sort of do hope we can flesh out the players positions early in camp so the coordination can get a good start. If you have to learn every position and the traits of every man that might be on you left and right you could end up looking as disjointed as last year.

Think he will be a quality starter wherever he plays on the line, probably guard.

Agreed, the value here offset any loss we felt at 23 with Howard, IF that’s the way anyone felt about 23

To think of it, Cody Ford seems like he should’ve been the pick. He blocked for a mobile qb.

DW stays in the pocket quite regularly though. Its only when he scrambles is he mobile. Its not like we run bootlegs or anything. This offense is a pro style that sucks and DW makes due with is ability.

He’s going to end up being the best pick in this draft for us.
