Ahhhhhhhhhhhh.... It's not playing but I'll take it. I'm dying to get back on the field. This is the longest non-injury related layoff I've had in...ever.
as a rockets fan I am used to seeing empty stadiums and minimal crowd reaction on tv so its not as jarring seeing it today as compared to other fans
Dortmund with their own version of Morey. https://www.transfermarkt.com/mateu-morey/profil/spieler/388513
Is there no VAR right now? Dortmund should've been awarded the goal in the first and Boatang with an intentional hand ball on Haaland's on-target shot in the 2nd. Should be 2-1 and Bayern down a man. Kimmich's goal was nasty, though...
Boateng can hardly amputate his arm on the way down - not an intentional hand ball. What goal in the first? I must have missed that. I think the push against Lewandowski could have been a penalty. All in all, a fair result.
Dortmund had a goal called off in the first. The player that scored was never in offside position and behind the ball the entire way. If there was VAR, it would've been good. Boateng clearly threw his arm at the ball as he was falling, IMO. I thought the Lewandowski one was a bit of a dive. Had be gone up stronger for that cross, he would've scored. He let himself get pushed, if there even was one.
Guess you didn't watch any replay? Miles offside. The Boateng one is more difficult though, tough to judge whether he was moving that way to protect himself or to deflect the ball.
I went ahead and re-watched the sequence. The player who passed the ball to Haaland (Hazard) was really far offside when he got the ball. There wasn't even any protest whatsoever. They all knew it. Clearest offside ever.
When I saw it live, I thought the ball was touched as it went out to the right. I thought they were calling the scorer off. Look at the Boateng one in slow motion. No way that was protecting himself. His elbow went out. 4:00 mark
Boateng was clearly turning away from the shot, he was also at the same time trying to be in the shooter's way with his back. But there was no unnatural movement with his arm. No penalty was the correct decision. That was also the vote of former referees watching the game who now act as TV pundits.
It was clear who would win the title. BVB and Leipzig weren't consistent enough. If nothing else, Haaland was in better form before the break. But it is cool to keep these conversations going. T-mobile Bayern Liga.
