I thought Matic was fine. In fact, I wonder where this lineup has been. I do not think Fred is a good player at all. He reminds former Dynamo Ricardo Clark. Always out of position and forced to chase the game. Can't complete even the most simple pass. But every once in a while, he'll hit a shot from distance that only serves to make people forget that he was complete crap for 89:59 of the game.

I know that Rashford was hurting and needed to be replaced. What in the entire hell has Alexis done that has put him over Martial? I don't care what he's being paid. He has no business on the field at any time and shouldn't even be making the bench.

That said, if De Gea doesn't pull his head out of his ass, he can go ahead and leave. Way too many mistakes on what should be simple saves. His head isn't in the game.

Blessed to be alive to watch Lionel Messi. Not sure there will ever be another player as good as him

The first 20 minutes of Ajax were amazing. I am happy with the result. It will still be difficult. But of would be amazing if they make the finals.

Barça seems to be better. But a lot can happen in one game.

I agree. That first 20 min, I thought Ajax was going to run away with it. They got a bit complacent. They were also a bit lucky that Spurs didn't have Son playing. I think he does a lot more damage than Llorente...who's slow and doesn't fit their system well. Spurs expect to be able to run with Kane and Son. Wednesday will be interesting with Son back in the lineup.

Vertonghen got injured bad, and surprisingly it did disrupt Ajaxes flow.

leicester had two GOLDEN opportunities to put one in the back of the net.... just unbelievable they couldn't convert one of them, especially from Ihenacho. what a monumental whiff.

good thing i didn't fall for the fluke high and started dreaming big and hitting my chest like all othet pool fans when the team was winning. i guess runner up and an elite 8 cl appearance is nothing to be ashamed of. at the end of the day, at least we're not arsenal.
