That is why we should let the Sim decide as we are all human beings after all and will have our own opinions and judgement. It is good to have discussion but not when it gets too heated. That's why I think not a lot of breh are voting cause they find it troublesome or don't wanna to get into each other skin. I have an idea for the next Two team draft. If it happens that one of your team lost in a Sim battle in the playoffs. You can ask for a revote and the brehs willl vote who would win like this draft. But you can only use this vote once and it won't confirm you the victory even with this revote as the brehs may agree with the Sim judgement. So you have to use this revote wisely. And can only be use on one of your team and only once. Is that a okay idea? That would balance out the current voting scheme and Simming as it would not totally cut out the traditional voting as voting is part of the draft afterall
oelman vs daywalker oelman Coach: Jerry Sloan PG- Stockton / ? SG- Brent Barry / Nick Anderson SF- Shane Battier / Kendall Gill PF- J-Smoove / Jeff Green C- Shaq / Jokic daywalker Coach: Rudy Tomjanovich PG- Kenny Smith/ Jerry West SG- Bradley Beal/ Isaiah Rider SF- Giannis Antetokounmpo/ Dennis Scott PF- Kristaps Porzingis/ Keith Van Horn C- Hakeem Olajuwon/ Swen Nater I dont like Josh Smith and Shaq combo .Olajuwon and Porzingis would be a stretching the floor well for beal and west. Shaq would much prefer a stretch for to dominate inside. Ill take Daywalker.
Yung-T Coach: Red Auerbach PG - Gary Payton / Ty Lawson SG - Doug Christie / Stephen Jackson SF - Bruce Bowen / Khris Middleton PF - Larry Bird / Sam Perkins C - Andrew Bynum / Troy Murhpy lwqbulb PG: Patrick Beverly / Kirk Hinrich SG: Michael Jordan / JJ Redick SF: Gerald Wallace / Vernon Maxwell PF: Serge Ibaka / Udonis Haslem C: Dikembe Mutumbo / Arvydas Sabonis Coach: Steve Kerr This is the hardest matchup for me to judge. Steve Kerrs system doesnt fit bulbs team. I dont like that yung T doesnt have a backup center. I honestly dont know ill have to research more.
dang breh. now this is what i call a breh draft! you get these (healthy) debates. don't take things personally, we all have opinions. which is why i didn't give reasoning to my votes, some are hard to justify, especially with coaches. whose idea was it to have coaches anyway?
I believe Steve Kerr will adjust his style to the players. Michael jordan do run off screens during his era and is an elite mid range shooter. Even if he is covered the screeners would be open or he could post up his man which would be deadly. My sixth man jj redick would be playing more minutes as well due to the system with him running off screens. The 3 Guards lineup would be ran most of the time for Hinrich Jordan and redick, I won't lose in terms of size at the small forward spot as the Yung team sf is Bowen and Middleton.
You don't have one elite 3pt shooter starting, this doesn't remotely compare to the Warriors imo. They have two all-time great 3pt threats in Curry+Klay, versatile other guys who can shoot the 3 and then a secondary playmaker in Green that can also shoot the 3 and defend positions 1-5. Mutombo is the farthest thing possible from him.
It is a fine line in my opinion, as it also takes away the fun when you're thinking really hard about your roster when drafting. I try to in-depth think about how my team would fare on both ends, what plays they could run, who can score and how etc. So when I see my team with extreme versatility and the perfect defenders possible for a matchup going against lwqbulb, it frustrates me to see him winning with a team that just isn't well thought out on offense in my opinion and has extreme matchup struggles. I'm not mad at anyone, but it's frustrating to see how we had more detailed judging schemes and opinions in the past, but nowadays most people just give their vote without even giving any explanation. I just want to improve this format honestly.
so i think for future drafts we can come up with a format where brehs can fill in answers per category to sort of "guide" us to a more concrete conclusion. plus that way we can have a more universal judging criteria for all teams across the board. but it has to come from brehs much smarter than me. i can judge teh faps only.
We had this offense/defense, front court, back court, bench, chemistry etc scheme in older drafts, was kind of better.
No probs, breh. May the more fortunate win. I see why you wanted to do the Bird Stockton thing, the trade unfortunately never happened. The thing is when I made my roster, every position can score, every position can assist, make plays, every position can rebound (I have the best rebounders of Alltime), block shots, steal the ball. They can do everything to a degree. The starting 5 can def do that, the bench needs playmakers but it's the bench, they won't get much Playing Time. Everyon in the draft wanted to do what's best. In retrospect, the mini meltdowns should be considered just that. It's fine. Lel. It became heated but it is what it is. But you saying my mini meltdown is as bad as yours.... that was funny because you are a 60 yr old veteran in here and I am a 8 yr old First time Drafter when it comes to Fantasy Ball. I am figuratively a Draft toddler. I was frustrated too but in the end it is a game. A very well concepted game, to be exact, but still a game at its core. So I won't get worked up over this and neither should you. I know it can be frustrating at times. I hope it improves too.
I basically liked Kerr a lot. But sorry, you cannot run his system with those defenders. You do not have enough shooters in the starting lineup. This is going to be a defensive matchup and the defenders must score. I think Larry Bird is the key here for Yung breh, if he can do it all and hit clutch shots after clutch shots. He still has a chance. I dun see Payton that much of a leader here, yes he will do whatever he can but I never envisioned Payton as the go to guy.
Without a coach I honestly did not favor Yung breh's team at all. He would be turribly disappointed. Now I see Yung breh's team is warming up to me but I cannot change my vote any more.
