With the Nets bringing in DBuffering, Lin moves to the backup point guard spot again. Getting paid over twice as much as DBuffering is not a bad consolation prize, though. It will be interesting to see if they can also play alongside each other.

Lin went to the Nets because at least he would start and be the man.

Now he's going to take a backseat to D.Lo LMAO.

Has he made any passive aggressive Bible quoting tweets yet?

Well considering how D'Lo played his best basketball off ball last year, I wouldn't be surprised to see them on the floor at the same time. Arguably the two best players on the team now with Lopez out the picture.

We know you're mad that your boy Jerry will be back to the bench, Lawrence

Doesn't mean you flood the Dish with 1 star threads

Unless they trade Lin I suspect he starts with Dlo, Lavert at the 3, mozzy, and whatever at 4. They're gonna have a nice pnr convo with both guys being able to play off each other. I'd put RHJ at the 4 and make him shoot threes all summer.

He's got the tools to be in their rotation. And is on that verge of breaking out. Played really well for them late. And I think he's going to be very good for them this next season. I'd love to have him and that cheap deal coming off our bench.

Might as well. I think he's more likely to be a bust than a real contributer, but if you're the Nets and you aren't really playing for anything.... why the hell not.

I predict Mozgov will foul out of more games than anyone else in the NBA, as Lin and Russell lay down the red carpet for anyone who wants to drive the lane.

I might even try to trade Lin for more cap space, plug in Dinwiddie, and just let the kids play.

'holic, who do you see actually making use of Lin? serious question. where would he fit in and have a genuine role? I thought the Charlotte assignment was just about perfect for him.

I'm pretty sure NYU has a better backcourt than the Nets...

Premature to make any thread presuming any player will be on a specific team. I'm halfway surprised waking up in the morning with no new trade going down.

I thought the Nets Coach is very closed with LIn so it will be very interesting to see who will be the primary ball handler this coming season.
