oh wasn't aware he is an assistant manager. is he still? so random that pep picked him. don't think he's played for pep before.
Interestingly I did not follow them that much, but got to do something he was Spanish and he knew the league well. I can only assume. And that he retired more than 1 year ago.
makes sense. barca (i pronounce is bar-kah) really know how to pump out talent. either that or they only accept prodigies into their academy. you never see like an andy carroll coming out of their academy.
Salah is awesome. There is talk of him joining Real Madrid, he's better than Bale now, but I wouldn't worry too much if I was a Liverpool fan because Salah isn't a handsome dude. I'm only half-joking, Real Madrid care about the appearance of their players. I'm hopeful on Madrid's chances against Bayern Munich this year. Their lack of depth is the main reason they are not competing in Spain, but I'm confident now that nothing else matters and the top players are all healthy. Bayern is coming in on a great roll, though, and Zidane has a dilemma on his hands in terms of who to play with Ronaldo.
Naw, even Bale who looks cro magnon at least looks like a great athlete. Salah has the talent and magic, but just doesn't fit the profile of a galactico even beyond the look. I remember when Di Maria was on Madrid. Great player for them, sold with so much left to give. Way back in the day, same happened to Robben. They were relative uggos who additionally weren't great commercially for them. These things matter to Madrid, for better or for worse.
Dominant first half, but these missed chances are really hurting us. The away goal hurts, but we can easily score in Madrid. Still not an ideal situation tho.
Can't tell how frustrated I am right now... it's the same terrible movie over and over again. Playing great, up 1-0, opponent struggling, then missing a huge chance to be in a great position (Müller missing a penalty against Atlético, Vidal against Real last year, today Ribéry having a clean path and letting the ball slip away) and finally some stupid individual mistake costs us the game. A 1-1 would've be somewhat ok, but now chances are pretty low. Bayern could've easily won this like 3-0, now we're out three years in a row because of that same old ****.
i dunno which team i would want to face lfc in the finals. real and bayern both seem to be able to counter lfc's style. and real has the finals experience.
