Actually, I really hope the first question to Kovac was: "Are you willing to play Martinez in midfield?" - and if he answered no, the negotiations would've ended right away.

Miroslav Kose as new U17-coach for Bayern and Mehmet Scholl as head of Bayern II again.
Uli going full-on family mode, who's next?

    @Ace @arno_ed

How good is de Ligt from Ajax? Good sources saying Bayern have been scouting him heavily this season and want to sign the breh.

I have not watched enough soccer this year to form an opinion.

However i asked a Friend who is a huge Ajax fan and season ticket holder. He is high on him. Thinks he is the real deal (the only one currently at Ajax). Not sure he will contribute straight away. But he is a great talent. He is normally very sceptical of Dutch player making it in other country.

Wonder what Bayern would've done if Wenger made that decision two weeks earlier. :p

I think in his earlier days he coached Nagoya Grampus Eight in the J league, so yeah, anywhere in the World for the Professor.

Being Alsatien, means he could speak German from the beginning.

I would love to see him bring his talents to the mls. European futbol has passed him by but he's primed to revolutionize American soccer

Little too late, just like Ferguson he missed the right time to step back and hence downgraded his legacy. Don't think Wenger is done coaching though. He probably won't sign with another English team, so I can see him go to France or most probably take over a national team after the World Cup. He speaks fluently German, French and English, also a little Spanish, Italian and Japanese, so that opens up a lot of options.

Arsenal really missed the window not approaching Tuchel. He would have been the perfect fit with the types of players they have.

It's different with you guys....but as a fan you can say Arsenal is Wenger for at least 2 decades. That's a huge accomplishment.

It will stay that way......Legacy does not stand for perfect slate - You guys are too much of perfectionists lol.

This so overrated around here, he is the only guy that has been coaching so long. I literally cannot think of another one.

He is like the Sir Ferguson of Arsenal. Yup he had some seasons with mediocre 4th places but 6th place was his worst in recent history or actually ever.

I think Mourinho had a very bad season at Chelsea and he was Chelsea's mastermind manager as well.

This is the picture of him at the beginning.

We're Germans, what do you expect? Wörk, wörk, wörk. Drink beer. Create unpronounceable technical terms noone else can handle, ... that's who we are.

But seriously, most Arsenal fans wanted him out for quite some time now and that's not the way you want to end such a long journey.

That is true but the good bye could be worse.....it's not a firing.

I would say it's amicable enough with the club. Fans can be really harsh at times.

I wanted him out as well to work on a new beginning but I'd say the best timing was at the Winter break or 1 year ago.... does not mean I did not look up to that great general.

Perfect goodbyes are always when you win the title and call it quits but the guys at the club won't let you if they are sane.
