Just to name a few 1) they beat us in the playoffs last year 2) pop is arrogant 3) manu ginobili trying to draw a charge on an aaron brooks halfcourt heave pretty much ended aaron brooks career as a valuable player 4) no way around the fans. If you lived in austin then you would see that they one of the most entitled fanbases in sports because they havent experienced losing in decades. 5) they beat us in the playoffs last year...
I like the Spurs because they respect their opponents and I like how they play. That starts with the coach, a man I have great respect for. Ginobili plays like a better, guard version of Luis Scola. Plays hard, some times a bit out of control, but nothing malicious there. That we lost to the Spurs made me more angry about how we lost rather than angry at them for winning.
I supported Westbrook for MVP? I didn’t realize that. John Stockton was my second favorite player of the 90s. Put that as your number 1 instead.

It doesn’t change my opinion of him or his team. Luis Scola, Patrick Beverly, and now Chris Paul — beloved Rockets who have also been accused by opposing fans of being dirty, rotten players. Smart fans don’t take these things personally or draw character conclusions from them.
