No he is.......... he doesn't really care.

He doesn't want to deal with the fall out of it and everything associated with it.

Sometimes it just isn't worth it.

Astros moving to have all their affiliates make geographical sense (as much as possible). Wouldn't be surprised to see them move their A ball team to the SAL.

All A ball teams would be east, with all but Tri-City being southeast:

    GCL Astros in Florida
    Rookie league in Greeneville
A ball would be in SAL
High A just moved to Fayetteville

All upper level teams then would be in Texas:

    AA in Corpus
AAA in Round Rock after 2018
of course the big league team in Houston

Macon, GA is looking for an A-ball team to return minor league baseball to they city (previously the Rome Braves were there, and a couple of different independent teams have played there). How I'd love for that team to be an Astros affiliate. I'll never let my dream die.

Amazing how he has somehow discovered some power this season.

I think Garrett Stubbs will be giving a chance to make the opening day roster in 2017.

Anyone know what model of car Jose Altuve drives? I may have seen him driving down my street the other day.

He was asked who will be a breakout prospect that no one has heard of and he said he likes what he's seen from Toro in instructs. That isn't really the same as him calling toro the best prospect no one has heard of.

Altuve was driving a black Toyota FJ Cruiser in a documentary that aired last offseason. I remember because 1) I used to have that model, and 2) was surprised to see a player like him would drive a Toyota.

That said, it wouldn't surprise me if he had more than one car.

While he is rich compared to most of us, he isn't getting big money yet (and certainly wasn't then). Maybe he's smarter than a lot of athletes that blow through money.

He has looked incredible out here, is absolutely whacking everything. I think he's a top 5 prospect in that system.

Whoa. That's pretty steep praise. That would make him a 55 grade prospect and a Top 100 prospect in all of baseball. But unlike most sleeper prospects he has a pretty good set of tools. He stole 43 bases, gets good reviews on his defense (including in CF). He probably tops out with average power (although you never know) and he does strike out a decent %. I was not high on him and even after this year I see him as a C+/45 grade guy, but he is already in the upper levels and has shown he has the upside to be a good defensive CF with plus on base, plus baserunning, and average power. That'd be a 3 WAR player.
