Spooner- His FC is one of the only ones that can match up with Yung-T's but his backcourt is significantly stronger. Yung T's bench is much better but for him to stand a chance, I think he would need to start Parsons, which diminishes his bench as well. Parsons does really well stopping Kobe but I don't think it will be enough. Spooner's team is just too talented for T. Sorry brah. My other vote goes to Donatas, don't want you to get swept For the finals, my vote goes to latebloomer. I'll explain later if necessary when I get home, but that's my vote.
Spooner PG Greivis Vasquez SG Kobe Bryant/OJ Mayo SF Andrei Kirelenko/Matt Barnes PF Blake Griffin C Tim Duncan/Robin Lopez VS latebloomer g Jrue Holiday g Iman Shumpert f LeBron James f Paul Millsap c Roy Hibbert g George Hill f Harrison Barnes c JaVale McGee
I'd play Kobe on Holiday. Kobe in the finals would pour his heart out on both ends. Vasquez would play on Shumpert who is terrible from the field. Good defense from bloomer, but my starting 5 is a super high iq passing team. Cant get much tougher than AK and Barnes on Lebron.
I'll say Spooner. I like the way Bloomer's team is built a bit more - mainly, i don't like Spooner's backcourt defense. Holiday will be a problem. But overall, Spooner has his best defenders (AK, Barnes) where he needs them here, solid rim protection, and more talent. I think he has the most talented team in the draft. I don't think Holiday is enough to tip the scales here.
it's a very well built team, deserves the votes. sign up for the next draft in the other thread if you have time/want to
I vote for latebloomer. It is a close matchup. I think between Lebron and Shumpert, Kobe will really have a tough time doing anything. Spooner has good D for Lebron so it really comes down to small things like the bench. And I love Latebloomer's bench. Especially someone like McGee playing with LEbron.
