I for one think Cuban is hilarious. Like our Super Hero, Morey's arch nemesis.

Hold on to your wigs and keys. This is going to be an exciting show.

I don't even think we can sign anyone unless it's in a trade after we get bosh

Turn off the fax machines, you can come to my house Morey/Les.

We are having steaks tonight. Morey, you look like you love steaks.

Morey with the games... You win some, you lose some, but you live to fight another day.

So, if we had just taken the team option on Parsons, this wouldn't be a problem at all right now would it?

To me... this seems like Parsons just wanting the money from Dallas. Don't blame him. It appears that Morey and Parsons were working on a deal and COULD NOT reach an agreement, so he took max offer from Dallas. Here is Parson's apparent friend tweeting a picture of Parsons fielding the actual phone call from probably Mark Cuban.

46 million dollar phone call. @ChandlerParsons #NothingWasTheSame pic.twitter.com/2wu9iLGvlb
— Daniel Morgan (@DmoSwag) July 9, 2014

And here is a tweet from the same friend saying "The heat is on" presumably meaning Morey was playing hardball with not giving Chandler what he wanted on $$$ so Parsons said F it, and signed the Dallas deal

Your assessment is almost 100% correct other then:

CP is not a potential all-star;
Bosh is worth a max contract;
And 3 years from now it is going to look REALLY bad move.... for Dallas.

Having said that, I donĀ“t think DM has the balls not to match the offer. The idea that because CP was underpaid before justifies overpaying for him now is a joke.

If Bosh doesn't come, you can't sign that Chandler deal.

That basically locks this roster down for the remainder of the Harden-Howard era, does it not?

your right Play, oversight on my part.

Bosh would have to be a sign in trade. which maybe if LeBron leaves, they want to rebuild. Picks, and whatever else, tie it into the Asik or Lin deal

We need a poll to guess whether Morey will match.

Oh I understand.

But the Rockets must didn't understand that someone was gonna over pay Parsons just to screw them.
The same way they screwed NY/CHI with those poison pill contracts to Lin/Asik.

And your question has been answered.
Yes, he wants to win thats why he is signing with the Mavs.

Beverley/Nelson/Canaan
Harden/Daniels/Johnson
Parsons/Garcia
Bosh/Jones/Covington
Howard/Aldrich

Is a roster we could have that would be RIGHT under the hard cap this year.

So does this leave us with half an Asik left to use?

He's not worth 15 mil a year. Not even worth 10 mil.
