Glad this happened. Someone else needed to tell them, and I blame that on them and not necessarily McHale. As for him coaching if McHale were to leave, I think he'd do a good job, but I'd hate to see how the kneejerkers would treat him after the honeymoon.

I would use reverse psychology on this team:

"You guys know you suck so bad. You can't win with the game on the line...cause you suck with the game on the line. You are mistake prone at the worst possible times in the game. You ignore McHale's instructions. You make bad decisions in crunch time. You are pathetic!"

Nice. The team needs some motivation. They can now work to make history again.

Yeah, I remember that. And Clyde played with the flu even though he could barely get out of bed. He hit two clutch free throws in OT to help ice it. Phoenix kinda choked in that game, but the Rockets took advantage of it.

It shouldn't be hard to motivate the Rockets to get nasty tomorrow night. Just show them an endless loop of Mo Williams coming over and talking trash after the game. If that doesn't p-ss you off as a player, nothing will.

The blazers used Beverley's comments of Lillard's whining as motivation prior to the series, just an FYI..

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this. After the Rockets came back from a 3-1 deficit to the defeat the Suns, they then upset the 62-20 San Antonio Spurs in the very next round. Could this happen all over again

The stage is set, let's do this!

Not sure we even need a mystery contributor, now that Daniels has emerged - we just need to translate our success in quarters 1-3.5 to the last few minutes of the game. The key pieces are more or less there.

This game will be a mental one, and we need these HOF ex-players to get our team focused in the right direction. Is Mario Elie available to be assistant coach for rest of playoffs?

I wouldn't call Kenny tough personally, though I would gladly take him over any of our PG's right now.

His defense was bad, but Kenny knocked down key shots and sank his free throws.

Most importantly he handled the ball very well and had court awareness

Reminiscing is all we have left.

This heartless bunch need to establish an identity and get us talking about them rather than reflecting on the past.
