Can you imagine this dumb philosophy?

if some Utah Jazz fan wearing a Jeremy Lin jersey working at Ross rolls up to me and asks
‘Hey @tinman you make more money than me give me $99’

You know what I would tell him ?

    ‘F you you lazy b****!’

I still am trying to figure out exactly what this thread is saying.

Apple and Amazon publicly stating they will donate? Okay, they certainly have the finances to do it.

There is no reason for Musk or Cook or Bezos to be getting any tax breaks.

Most of the investment comes from pension funds, the very rich, and foreign investment. The average American citizen owns scant stock.

Do you really think the Robin Hood app is moving the market?

you need to heed the sage words of Abe Lincoln

better to remain silent and be thought of as a fool than
to speak to remove all doubts.
Kodak will follow the same fate as American Airline, Hertz, Nikolai.

    Timber !!!!!

FWIW, more than 100K RobinHood retail traders bought AAL, HTZ and NKLA

i'll soon sell synthetic "shorts" on Kodak, just like i did on AAL and NKLA

That app is dangerous. Buying individual stocks is so risky even when you do know what you are doing.

One issue I see is that they don't allow short selling. So you have a lot of enthusiasm and money, but all of them can only bet one way. If the robinhooders target a small cap stock with small float, you quickly get a $60 Kodak... then the rest of the market catches on and starts shorting it back to reality.

You definitely sound like a typical freshman engineering student. I remember everyone in my first two years of engineering school ragging on art history majors and having a superiority complex. I even probably suffered from it a bit.

You definitely have something against them as you are using it as a butt of an insult.

And yes I do have some issues with the culture of young engineering students and their hubris so I'm logically consistent here.

I don't use nor recommend Robin Hood - so sketchy that they don't support index funds.
