LOL. Since this wasn't O'Brien trading the picks, it is a good trade for Seattle. Compare this to the Tunsil trade. Texans got Tunsil, Stills, and a 4th for 2 - 1st and a 2nd and trash players. I would rather have the LT/WR than the safety. AND WITHOUT AN EXTENSION AGREED UPON!
Who is saying this? My favorite was a meme being passed around with a sarcastic: "Thank you O'brien for setting the Market" and it had a picture of Homer Simpson in the passenger seat with everyone angrily staring at him .
While this is an overpay, Adams' effect on that defense could be exponential considering how important DBs were to that super bowl roster. Besides Earl Thomas, they made the legion of boom out of a bunch of midround picks.
I guess it's a good thing the Seahawks didn't need an LT/WR since they poached Duane Brown for a 2nd rounder and can draft WRs.
Duane Brown was a 2nd AND 3rd. Seattle has never valued OLine under Carroll. They wouldn't have traded for Tunsil, since they knew they would have to pay him.
