Apparently he is seen as a greg oden/lebron like NBA prospect in the upcoming 2021 draft. Cade is from dallas, texas and scouts are comparing him to Luka Doncic and James Harden. Very high praise

here are a few links about him below

Can he really be good if he's from Dallas?

This kid is really good. He could go 1st round pick right now. 6'7 230lbs with real pg skills. He is a slasher, a shooter and a defender.

He has it all, besides elite athleticism, but that's irrelevant when you consider he's a 6'8" 225 PG with the frame of a veteran NBA 3. His poise/pace is maybe his most impressive attribute, and his A/TO numbers are skewed based on his awfully thin supporting cast at OK State.

Him and Luka are different (Luka's got more of a scorer's mentality, while Cade projects as a better defender) -- but functionally I see him operating much like him. No matter whether he's a true "PG" or not, you don't take the ball out of the hands of a guy with his talent. He projects as a star primary-creator, who can defend multiple positions and put the team on his back scoring the ball if needed.

Honestly, I'm getting ahead of myself but a potential trio of Cade Cunningham, Christian Wood and Kevin Porter Jr. is exciting as hell.

The basketball gods have to feel sorry for us right after what they did to CP3's hammy and for creating Scott Foster?! :(

He has been so fun to watch this year.

He's everything I thought Greg Brown would be.

Not his best performance but he certainly went down swinging. Excited to see him in the tournament.

Ah, but there's a silver lining to this cloudy, overcast season, right? Finishing out of the playoffs with one of the worst records should give the Rockets a top draft pick, maybe even the No. 1 overall selection, right?

Not so fast, Mr. TV Weatherman. Even if the Rockets end up dead last, they stand only a 25 percent chance of landing the first pick. Since the start of the NBA's draft lottery system in 1985, the team with the worst record got the first pick only six times.

Can someone please explain why he keeps being touted as a "total package without elite athleticism" when we also keep hearing he's an average finisher and poor shooter? At this point, the guy sounds like another Ben Simmons.

He is crafty on top of being a physical mismatch for most guards due to his size and for most forwards due to his handles. He isnt a great finisher because of his lack of elite athleticism. He isnt a TMac type at 6'8''. But he isnt a bad athlete. As for his shooting, he is an above average shooter. He shot 44% overall (including 40% from 3 on 5 attempts per game) and is an 85% free throw shooter. His team didnt do him a ton of favors when it came to finishing for him or taking some of the focus off of him from the defense. There are no sure things but this kid is as close as you're going to get from a 1 and done player.

He's a great shooter with a textbook J. He's not an elite finisher at the rim -- as he's not a freakish vertical athlete, but I bet he finishes at a better rate in the pros, with more spacing than in the packed paint of CBB (+ OSU had awful shooting around him).

Basically you might not be getting a 32ppg guy, but he's going to be a damn good score/pass threat without any major exploitable weaknesses on either end. And in today's switch-heavy D, quick-decision O league that's especially critical. And he seems to have maturity/leadership skills on top of that.

Can't shoot or finish... can't be a start. Overhyped.

Where did you get poor shooter from? I mean, we’re in the internet. All you have to do is look at some clips and pull up the stats.
