Yes I saw that video. The LE are far more aggressive but that seems an anomaly. Fron what I’ve heard they’ve ignored individuals and just focused on large groups.
That said this was relatively early and not too far from the very large protest at the 5th precinct. So they might’ve been told to send a message early.

If a sword of 1:50 didn’t work let’s try doing unarmed Judo 1:50!

Which video? Because both parties were wrong and stupid all the way around. Man charges multiple people with sword. Multiple people beat man unconscious. What did he think was going to happen? I do not agree that he should be beaten but you do something that stupid, you're going to have a bad time. Same thing with the video of the guy in SLC with the bow. Why would you get out of your car and point a bow at a massive amount of people? No common sense in protective one's own self.

The video in the post you quoted when I quoted you. I thought that was obvious. It shows a group of people viciously beating a man who was clearly not a threat while they were beating him. Even if he did threaten or attack them with a sword, they aren’t justified in continuing to viciously beat him while he is clearly no longer a threat on the ground surrounded by 10 opponents.

Yup... Leadership at the top pushes for this type of thing and has let everyone know authoritarianism is a good thing.

    Get used to it.

There are different degrees of being a dumbass. Getting a group of your white “militia” buddies together and driving into a riot so you can “exercise your second amendment right” is up near the top of dumbass ideas.

Yeah. That's what happens when you come at a group of people with a sword and you are not Samurai Jack. Pretty obvious.

Not sure what the guy with the bow and the guy with the sword thought would happen.

Hopefully both live but judgment is severely lacking.

Pathetic. Inexcusable vicious beating of a clearly harmless person to near death cannot even draw a condemnation from you two. Disturbing.

Save me your holier than thou bs. Man chased someone with a sword and was beaten for it. If you really are that stupid to do that, I don't feel bad for you.

And honestly if you see this and feel bad for him, you are just as stupid as him.

It doesn’t matter whatever misguided actions that man took before. Once he was neutralized continuing to beat him to near death is simply unjustified. They could have easily killed him and it would have been murder. Its as simple as that. For you to think thats ok is beyond f&&ked.
