The new KFC fries are terrible; can't believe the potato wedges got shoved out the door for these. @EddieWasSnubbed stop hyping the **** out of things. First it was Braxton Miller and now this.
You know you can cook better fries, without deep frying or owning some airftying contraption, in your kitchen?
Come on man. Braxton Miller is the second best Braxton to ever play in the NFL. These fries are the bees t***.
Haven't tried the fries at KFC, OP (haven't tried KFC is a long time!), but the best fries I ever had was at the Ranger Drive-In at Telephone Road and Holmes Road behind Gulfgate. They had killer "dip-fries" and fantastic chicken fried steak sandwiches. The veal was never frozen. Their malts were fabulous and with the extra that came in those big stainless steel containers with frost on the sides, with great burgers and rings to die for. The topper? They had the hottest car-hops in Houston. I sat with my cousin there in his '56 Chevy dozens of times chatting them up. Sadly, when the South Loop was built, it went right through it. Damn 610 ruined the neighborhood. The Ranger moved towards Hobby, but as a shadow of it's former self.
