    The NFL’s biggest one-hit wonders

    David Johnson, Texans running back

Johnson was a first-team All-Pro in 2016, when he led the NFL with 2,118 all-purpose yards with the Cardinals. He missed all but one game in 2017 with a wrist injury, but has been largely ineffective in the two seasons since and almost disappeared in 2019. The Cardinals traded him to the Texans last month, you might have heard.

um....didn’t he only play one year of football before we drafted him? That seems like a pretty big deal!

I hope Warring balls out...Doesn’t sound promising but who knows. A 3rd round pick in a combine monster who never played before 2018 (and was injured all 2019). Haven’t heard anything on him recently, but that jus sounds like a wash.

Might be the worst trade of all time.

I don't care if we welch on a deal, BoB status in the NFL community is a joke regardless, might as well keep hopkins.

I just don't see BoB and his little ego doing something like it though, sadly.

Even if the trade doesn't go through (which I highly doubt happens) they'll just ship him to another team. There's no way Hopkins comes back to this trash franchise and why would he if 1) they don't want to pay him and 2) they already tried moving him.

    I agree.

To add to this, teams will know BOB would be even more desperate to get rid of him. That early 2nd rounder could end up a late 2nd to early 3rd. This could make a big difference in how the Texans go into the draft.

BUT I think it'll go through or Texans/Cards will figure something out. Maybe throw in a 2021 3rd rounder.

Just get the damn thing OVER WITH! With the way Obrien negotiates, the Texans will owe the draft pick and have to pay Murray & Fitzgerald's salary too! For the sake of the T.E.A.M!

They are going to have to nail every draft pick this year. Especially on offense.

I saw him one year in college and he was a really good player. I dont know how many years he's played football.

If I could do it with Brock Osweiler, I think I could do it with anybody.

Hop left off every qb he’s ever had minus DW4. If he had success with those trash ass qbs he can have it with anyone.

Bill O’Brien already made they trade. It’s the Clowney deal. We literally got nothing in return for a guy we drafted number 1 overall a few year ago. At least we got something in the Hopkins trade. Heck you could say Bill O’Brien is improving as a gm lol....

Khalil Mack who went third in that draft was traded for 2 first rounders.. Is the difference between Mack and Clowney really 2 first rounders vs a third round pick???
