In all the stuff that has been going on this unsettling story pretty much got buried but just 4 days ago a White Supremacist planned on blowing up a KC hospital and was killed by the FBI..

FBI says man killed in Missouri wanted to bomb hospital amid coronavirus epidemic
Timothy Wilson was the subject of a terrorism investigation, and agents tried to arrest him when he arrived to pick up what he thought was a bomb.

A man suspected of plotting to blow up a Missouri hospital and was killed in a shootout with FBI agents was apparently frustrated with local government action to stop the spread of coronavirus, the FBI said Wednesday.

Timothy Wilson, 36, died Tuesday in Belton, Missouri, a suburb of Kansas City, after members of the FBI’s joint terrorism task force attempted to arrest him. The FBI says Wilson was the subject of a “months-long domestic terrorism investigation."

It’s not clear whether Wilson was wounded by FBI agents or if he died by suicide. Officials say he was armed and after being shot was taken to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The incident will be investigated by the FBI's inspection division, standard procedure for shootings involving agents.

FBI officials describe Wilson as a potentially violent extremist known to express racial and religious hatred and antigovernment sentiment. They say that while under surveillance, Wilson wanted to commit an act of terrorism, specifically a bombing, and had considered several targets, including a school with a large population of black students, a synagogue and a mosque.

But as the coronavirus pandemic began to take hold in the United States and local officials in Missouri issued stay-at-home orders, FBI officials said Wilson became aggravated.

"With the current health crisis, Wilson decided to accelerate his plan to use a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device in an attempt to cause severe harm and mass casualties," the FBI said in a statement.

Wilson considered various targets and settled on an area hospital, the statement said. The hospital was not identified.

Wilson had taken all the necessary steps to acquire the materials needed to build an explosive device but was always under close watch by agents, the FBI said.

The shooting occurred when the FBI tried to arrest Wilson when he arrived to pick up what he thought was a car bomb. But there was no actual bomb and authorities say no members of the public were ever in danger during the investigation.

Belton is about 20 miles south of downtown Kansas City.

A phone number belonging to someone associated with Wilson could not immediately be found Wednesday night.

As of Wednesday, there have been 356 cases of the coronavirus illness COVID-19 in Missouri and eight deaths, according to the state health department.

    More on the story.
    https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/fbi...bomb-plotter-radicalized-us/story?id=69818116

FBI learned of coronavirus-inspired bomb plotter through radicalized US Army soldier
The FBI's office in Missouri issued an alert offering more details on the case.
The suspected white supremacist who plotted to bomb a hospital facing the coronavirus crisis was in touch with a then-active U.S. Army soldier who wanted to launch his own attack on a major American news network and discussed targeting a Democratic presidential candidate, according to an FBI alert summarizing the case.

On Tuesday, as 36-year-old Timothy Wilson was on the verge of trying to detonate a car bomb at a Kansas City-area medical center, agents from the FBI’s field office in Missouri attempted to arrest him. But shots were fired, fatally wounding Wilson, according to the FBI.

Ahead of Tuesday’s incident, Wilson “espoused white supremacist ideology” and “made a threat that if any agent attempted to [search his property] they should ‘bring a lot of body bags,” said the FBI alert, distributed to state and local law enforcement agencies in the region on Wednesday.

The FBI alert also said Wilson had “shared instructions on how to make an [improvised explosive device] with another ... Domestic Terrorism (DT) subject” from near Kansas City.

ABC News has identified that other domestic terrorism “subject” as Jarrett Smith, who was arrested in September 2019 while still stationed at Ft. Riley, Kansas, as an active member of the U.S. Army.

According to charging documents filed at the time in Topeka, Kansas, Smith allegedly planned to travel to Ukraine to fight with the violent far-right group Azov Battalion; suggested targeting then-Democratic presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke; proposed bombing the headquarters of a still-unidentified news network; and distributed bomb-making tips online.

Smith has since pleaded guilty to federal charges of distributing information that relates to weapons of mass destruction, and he is awaiting sentencing.

On Wednesday, sources familiar with the matter told ABC News that Wilson had been on the FBI’s radar for more than a year, indicating that the FBI’s probe of Smith led authorities to Wilson months before he sought to take advantage of the unfolding coronavirus crisis.

“With the current COVID-19 pandemic, Wilson decided to accelerate his plan to detonate a [car bomb] to cause severe harm and mass casualties,” the FBI said in its alert. “Wilson may have also believed the additional stress on society posed by the COVID-19 pandemic provided unique opportunities to exploit.”

The FBI believes other extremists inside the U.S. homeland may similarly “aspire to capitalize on the current health crisis,” but it is “unlikely” any of their actions “will rise to the level of terroristic actions like Wilson,” the alert issued Wednesday said.

During a conference call with police chiefs from across the nation on Friday, the Department of Homeland Security’s assistant secretary for Infrastructure Protection, Brian Harrell, and the department’s liaison to state and local law enforcement, John Hill, tried to assure the chiefs that the federal government is doing all it can to protect “critical infrastructure” in their cities and towns, including hospitals.

But even before coronavirus became a crisis inside America, Harrell offered this stark assessment: “Based off of current events and the frequency of events, I am convinced that this country is becoming more and more violent every single day.”

“I live my life as if the worst day is right around the corner,” he told Congress last month, adding that the U.S. government is “focused on preparedness and protection.”

Yes that one too. I've referenced that story a few times recently regarding how Asians are being attacked and harassed over the rush to blame "Chinese" and "Chinese Culture."

Just When You Thought Things Couldn’t Get Worse, Neo-Nazis Are Trying to Weaponize Coronavirus
White supremacists are discussing schemes that use infected “saliva” to target law enforcement agents and “nonwhite” people

White supremacists are using an encrypted messaging app called Telegram to devise schemes with the intent of weaponizing the coronavirus to target law enforcement agents and “nonwhite” people, according to a report by Yahoo News.

According to a law enforcement weekly intelligence brief, federal investigators appear to be monitoring neo-Nazis’ conversations on Telegram where plans of weaponizing items such as spray bottles with infected saliva were discussed.

“Violent extremists continue to make bioterrorism a popular topic among themselves. White Racially Motivated Violent Extremists have recently commented on the coronavirus stating that it is an ‘OBLIGATION’ to spread it should any of them contract the virus,” the intelligence brief written by the Federal Protective Service, a part of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, read.

Yahoo News goes on to quote the brief which said that the neo-Nazis discussed “suggested targeting… law enforcement and minority communities, with some mention of public places in general.”

So invading China to takedown the CCP will solve the Coronavirus here in the US? Invoking Nazi's in this situation is dumb. The solution is not nearly the same despite both being evil regimes in completely different times.

The point is I get that you and others on the Right are pissed about not being able to got to bars, or church. However when the conversation on the Covid topic 99% of the time goes to hating on the Chinese, I would say you are focuses are misguided at best. At worst, you are trying your damnest to propagate hate as a distraction.

Again this is a tactic of "Look here, not there"... "Get angry at them!!... Blame them" as if that solves anything. What you are doing only stokes hate & animosity. I assume you are just worked up because of the right wing media you are consuming & trying to propagate here. You can have a conversation separately about issues with and solutions for the next administration to solve the programs with our relationship with the Chinese Communist Regime. But you aren't doing that, and it looks pretty obvious here what your motive is.

    GIVE IT A REST!!
