Every social media or forum thread, someone has to play this role. Why? What positive value does this add?

Are you saying he should’ve donated more? I don’t get your angle

he doesn't have to donate anything
but he decided to donate $25 million

What about Jeff Besos? That dude is worth 100 billion

he don't have to donate crap either

This is wise words from the scholar Bobby Brown

    " I made this money you didn't"

My angle is why does this guy get a news article while a normal middle income person donating $250 for example does not. Arguably speaking, that middle income person is sacrificing more than Ballmer is.

Its potentially an apt comparison. Bear in mind we don’t know how much liquidity he has. Most of his wealth is tied to investments

I want to know where all the Hollywood elite are. They love shoving their POVs and superior morality down our throats 24/7 until it’s time to step up to the plate in an emergency.

Because news articles aren't about "what is this person sacrificing". It's an SI article, so unless the normal middle income person is a sports figure, I'm not sure why they'd get an article. And articles are written about things that have impact. Ballmer's donation has 100,000x the impact of normal middle income person, so it makes it more newsworthy. This shouldn't be all that complicated.

When low income people criticize billionaires who donate to charity
This means they want to feel like they are significant because they don’t understand the fundamental reason and significance of the action
They only want to feel that are more important

its 25 million dollars . Mathematics means it’s beyond more than they can contribute and money matters

just like when they want a company to fail
They don’t think the many employees who work for them , only the top person or persons

They all deserve recognition for any donations, large or small regardless of their percentage of cash and other liquid assets.

People like to complain about rich people donating and the every day American who volunteers on his or her spare time and posting on social media. Sometimes these actions can inspire others to donate their money and/or time to charitable causes regardless of the amount.

Steve Balmer deserves praise. So does the middle-income person donating $250. We are ALL in this together.
