Not only did Senator Burr insider trade, he possibly helped his rich cronies insider trade too. Lock this MFer up! At the very least he should be fired/impeached (whatever is the equivalent for Senators). This level of corruption is just as bad, if not worse than the incompetent Wuhan officials.

Germany's only had 115 recover. Globally, about 10 reported cases have recovered for every death.

Yes, and the USA has only had 108 recoveries with over 4.5x the number of deaths to Germany.

At the moment, Germany is doing very well with it's death rate, and or are being very effective in testing.

Germany and Italy are really unique outliers - once this is all over, it will be interesting to see if this remains true, and what we learn of what might be the causes. It could be their medical systems, testing, responses, etc. Or it could be genetics or weather or something else random.

Germany's doing "well" compared to US after 2 weeks, but death rate is likely much greater than the one you calculated. Though US is definitely having biased results towards deaths by only testing sick and stars.

I'm not sure what you're arguing here. Firstly, Germany started getting cases in January.

2ndly, why is the death rate much higher? I didn't calculate anything those are the official numbers? Is the death rate subject to change over time? Of course this is a very #fluid situation. I'm not claiming that it won't.

I'm not claiming anything other than, - based off of the current official numbers, Germany is doing very well with its death rate, and or very well with it's testing efficiency.

Our number of cases are going to skyrocket in the next 3-4 days because they are clearing a backlog of tens of thousands of tests that have been waiting around.

So if this thing might drag on for months, is there a point that you basically quarantine everybody over 60 years old and everybody just has to go back to work?

Death Rate can't be calculated accurately using total cases that have it when over 99% of those who have it are still sick.

Germany has many advantages over Italy ,Dräger is the world leading company of ventilators, anesthesia, incubators etc but also has total monopoly over many countries health system, if there is curruption it will thrives

they sell you for instance their Julian (worth 70-120k) model for 12k +flight tickets and hotel for you and family if you're a decision maker.

Later, they will force you to buy their accessories (t,y tubes, gases ) for 1000x fair value

Their machine are programmed to malfunction so you pay premium repair and maintenance only by their staffs,so though it's in hospital inventory,in most cases it's out of service if it's out of Germany
