While you're sitting at home being bored, remember your local businesses will probably happily prepare food or other orders for pickup or delivery. Give them a call!

Also: If you have a membership to a gym or daycare and aren't using it, consider just paying it anyway if you can afford it. We want these businesses to stay open so they're usable after the pandemic. Consider it goodwill/support for good businesses that have earned our trust!

That's all well and good until a prep cook has a massive infection but shows no symptoms and everything he breathes near is coated in millions of shedded virus.

Have been cooking every meal at home for a week. Finally broke and picked up Bambalinos for the family. Great people and good pizza. It was delicious.

Ssshhh... that's the part you're not supposed to talk about. Just spray the bags and containers with Lysol.

Eating out was a big part of my life. Now I’m too worried about a person in the service industry being infected and passing the itis to me via my order. Feels safer to prepare my own food.

I thought the same thing, but TBH there's probably just as good a chance that the multiple people that handle the food from the grocery store that gets to you will also be infected the same way (by handling). Same with the mailman that delivers the mail. Or the Amazon delivery driver. So... I dunno... we're screwed, I guess. :)

I will support my local restaurants for sure but for some reason food tastes better when you eat it at the restaurant

Also buy gift cards from them to help support their cash flow shortages.

Eating cold food does not interest me, never knew why people would do take out and delivery unless they were working and could not eat at a restaurant

Think it's no more or less safe than the grocer. The media is portraying it as super safe. But that just can't be true. It's naïve. I would say its equally as risky. Which is ok. Order away. But I would not presume it safe. Personally would prefer a drone drop it off. But it's a reasonable risk right now.

It's unlikely you will get it from food.
