I think the right thing to do is a bring a coach in that'll hold him accountable and require him to play in a system and play defense. If he is unwilling trade him at the deadline for picks along with Gordon and Westbrook.

But then you're left with Fertitta as owner still so it really doesn't matter what we do. Rockets are now what Hugo's Restaurants would be if Landry's bought them out.

Trade Harden for Trae Young and capeala.

Bring back Clint capeala send away 'dirty Jimmy!
Harden a bench player and eight year experiment was long enough to know what to expect!

Needs to cut that beard 'dirty james'!!!

Maybe it also tells you the state of the Houston Rockets. This team is as bipolar as CF posters. CF at least has the excuse that fans are supposed to be irrational fanatics.

they are up 11.5 games on the 9th seed Pelicans with not even 20 games left in the season...stop the ridiculous and nonsensical hyperbole

I fully expect rockets to drop below Mavs.

The Mavs are better on paper than the rockets.

    Porzingis is elite and doncic!

serious question? yes he has on numerous occasions

if you're trying to defend harden here, that wasn't exactly the best thing to ask lol

This is dumb. They’re not trading Harden unless he asks out.

They just need to find a balance between Westbrook ball and Harden ball. Hopefully they figure it out before the playoffs. If not, then we will have a retooled roster next season. I think that the best thing to do is move House and Tucker to the bench next season. They need to use Gordon to upgrade those spots though, so he needs to pick it up and stop playing like Ryno.

During those last Lin days, Worrell used to sound so irritated at every Jeremy screw-up.

He's doing the same with Harden right now in this Minnesota game. Every turnover, every missed free throw, every missed three.

Just don't understand this funk he's in.

so he has alot..i mean alot of playoffs games...look he only lost what 3 times in the first.

i mean i was being facetious, but the 1st year here losing to okc...better team....losing to gsw...better team.

the only one was the portland.

so he has made the playoffs 10 times. n only lost 3 in the 1st. thats 70 percent he gets out. come on

    Disgusting that its split rn.
We as fans expect loyalty out of our players, hell we sht on durant for pulling that p***y move to go get rings.

Now here we are creating a thread debating on getting rid of one of the best players to ever grace a rocket uniform just bc of slumping/"declining".

If u guys dont care about player loyalty to a team then gud for u. But if u btched about lack of loyalty in the league and proceed to agree to get rid of harden, a loyal player then just fk right off, u hypocrites.

Dont even try to justify it for the sake of the team.

Don't compare fans who are typically average Americans with an average household income of 60 grand to people who have a net worth over 100 million dollars.

We are the fans who allow them to have these salaries. If Harden is going to decline I would rather trade him sooner with some good value in return than have him go downhi here with no high draft picks and no future.

Again, this is obviously conditional. If the Rockets make some noise this playoffs where we can see an avenue where the Rockets can be a contender next season, then definitely keep him. If we look completely lost in the playoffs and lose in the first round, our days of being contenders are over. Do you really want to endure a decade of no high draft picks and no future?

Eight years is long enough. Jr smith can do what harden is doing. Spot up threes. You might miss ten three's and "It's ok!!!!". "You're good bro". No ten misses is never good bro!

This is based on... the last four games or so? But...not a knee jerk? Ok, not based on one game, or a half, or a quarter, but yes...that's a knee jerk reaction. Do you have any data to indicate it is the worst slump of his career? He hit 30/14/7, for example, in the middle of that.

If you're gonna claim not knee jerk reaction, you've got to bring more data and/or analysis. I would say yes, he's been in a bit of a recent slump, but nothing close to what you are indicating.
