He should come back tonight against the Lakers since a) it's the Lakers and b) it's nationally televised. But since it's not a winnable game and GSW knows it, they and the media are going to wait until Curry slaughters the Wizards before proclaiming "Curry is back!"
the whole point of bringing curry back is to bring fans back into the seats. season ticket holders are pissed for having to pay an $80k chase center membership fee plus the usual cost of their season tickets for what is essentially a gleague team. and it’s impossible to sell those tickets for even half of its original value. granted, doesn’t mean much bc curry playing isn’t going to translate to wins. but fans won’t be so hard-pressed to shell some money to go see curry shoot 20% from the field, at least for a few games.
You know what I'm gonna give Steph Curry credit for coming back this season and playing when he didnt have to and has nothing to play for. In an era of rest/load mgt its nice to see guys like Curry and Harden play as much as they are able to. At least my league pass money isnt taken for granted by those guys.
