Mike is putting every team on blast! As good as the Rockets are, they are capable of more.

“I think we’re doing a lot of things pretty well,” Rockets coach Mike D’Antoni said. “We can get a lot better on offense. We can get a lot better defensively. We’re getting better. There’s some breakdowns every once in a while with communication, getting the new guys in and getting them on the same page. Overall, I think the players especially are pleased with where we are but knowing also we can get a lot better at it.”

    Scary!

If you are not a Rockets fan. LOL

Yeah , they can be a lot better offensively .... they have made quite a few knuckle headed plays that resulted in turnovers in the past couple games - Particularly Harden when doubled. They really have to iron that out.

Even with those plays , they are putting up numbers we haven't seen since the Nuggets back in the Doug Moe era.

Definitely! I feel like it will all depend on who's going to be in the rotation and mainly Gordon & House, but to a lesser degree our "big" rotation. I truly feel EGO is obsolete at this point with his weak handles, whiny approach and overconfidence in his deep threes. Maybe once he's truly, 100% healthy and not "rockets healthy". I see no point in putting him in the starting line-up anymore either, don't mess with what's working. Come play-off time, House will also surely be a question mark. Will he be impactful or is MDA forced to change things up?

Westbrook & Harden will keep doing their thing, seems they have found a balance in scoring, Covington & Tucker will have an impact no matter what. Who will shoot the 3 well and play solid enough defense out of the Green, Thabo & Carroll trio is a question mark and could determine how good we can be. Will be interesting to see which line-ups work if Rivers continues this play, can be the main ball handler w/ Westbrook / Harden as a secondary threat.

This is the time for D'Antoni to say.

I can still coach better, take some responsibility. And not hide behind the team.

    Time for him to shine!

Roco and Tuck together defensively is something else. What they dont have in size they make up for in speed.

Watched that, and he probably meant what he said.

He wishes to push his system to the extreme, and then to another extreme.

He regretted not pushing it further.

I think everyone is selling Gordon short, he's literally our best floor spacer. He provides so much for our offense and his perimeter defense is pretty good as well. Gordon has also always brought it in the playoffs.

Height is irrelevant because it is not about small ball, micro ball, fill in size joke name here.

    It is about Skills Ball.

Every player around Harden & Russ needs to be able to shoot 3ball on offense and switch everything on defense.

Steve Nash and D'Antoni talking about their small balls? Now that's a player coach relationship!

The owner is going to the media and Steve a Smith because Mike d'antoni gonna get fired if rockets lose in the first round!

Mark Cuban with the Mavs did the same thing before the Mavs fired don Nelson!

The owner is doing this to promote the team for future super stars.

I would say nash being invited to root for his former coach in a 'small ball' promo video as a moderator as well as endorser.
