DOJ filed an avg of 11 denaturalization cases per year (1990-2017). Yeap, just 11 cases per year. On the fed judges - 7 confirmed fed judges under trump received an ABA rating of "not qualified", 4 of which were "unanimously not qualified". I don't think there were any "unaimously not qualified" fed judges confirmed prior to Trump.
Probably an issue then lol. Wasn’t aware of those ratings. All the more reason to vote Blue in November. Hoping the Supreme Court puts a swift end to injustice if it gets out of hand
Only Bernie can stop this! And if Bernie doesn't win, I don't care about this at all, screw those people.
From the article I saw on CNN.... The latest move by the Justice Department is in line with broader administration efforts to investigate cases where individuals are believed to have illegally obtained US citizenship. "When a terrorist or sex offender becomes a U.S. citizen under false pretenses, it is an affront to our system --and it is especially offensive to those who fall victim to these criminals," said Assistant Attorney General Jody Hunt said in a statement. "The Denaturalization Section will further the Department's efforts to pursue those who unlawfully obtained citizenship status and ensure that they are held accountable for their fraudulent conduct." Why the fear about catching people who break the law? They get a federal court case and can argue. This is no different than any other law enforcement, it's just that the Trump admin seems to actually want to deliver its election promises and enforce immigration laws that were created over the decades by both parties. Fighting this just makes you look pro-criminal.
