I admittedly have been an advocate for a Correa trade. I made a mistake. Forgive me Carlos. I love you

I’ll admit, I was leaning towards trading him because of his injury history.

But he has been absolute fire with these interviews lately. I can’t turn my back on him.

Correa has become a man and took over talks. He’s going to get some hate and some hits.

I appreciate this damn love for the team. Let’s go!!

He's been clutch for us in games and it seems clutch off the field as well. His interview was on point and reflects how most of us feel. Yes we were wrong, but we are sorry and we have been punished. Kicking us while we are down, dragging it out, and manufacturing outrage over things that aren't even true are not okay. 2 wrongs don't make a right. I especially like how he broke down game by game how we earned the 2017 WS. Makes me feel alot better about the title not being tainted.

Well if he does stay healthy and finally starts putting together the monster seasons he is capable of, I think our chances of resigning him are only going up. Given all this crap the team has taken, especially from the Yankees and Dodgers players, and the fact he (and the rest of the team) are going to get booed by fans during most of the road games...can't see him (and many others on this team) wanting to go play for the assholes who have the payroll to afford him.

Also, got into an argument with a Yankees fan last night about this:

    https://www.nj.com/yankees/2018/05/yankees_tainted_by_drug_and_steroid_use.html

Players/teams have been cheating since day one - hell the Cardinals went into our system and STOLE our scouting and other information and that story was news for like two days which is amazing considering someone literally WENT TO JAIL over that scandal.

He went to bat pretty hard for Crane. Can’t hurt his negotiations.

Hopefully Correa is the first of many to nut up, now we need Springer and others to follow

Talk about missing out on a perfect opportunity. So many options were available at the time, and now the league is going to be hesistant in dealing any top tier talent for mediocrity.

On September 7 Carlos Correa went 2x4 against Oakland and was slashing .301/.367/.441. Since then he's "hitting" .122/.178/.146, lowering his season line to .261/.325/.375.

Between all the things mentioned already and Carlos's poor offensive numbers, we would be selling very low if we were to go for a trade this winter.

Alex Santos is on the way to the Astros.

Just wait this year, hopefully he makes it next year.

Yes he is the Real Deal and he is the Future Ace.
