Good stuff. Bell having played for MDA and with Iverson gives him a good perspective. I'm glad that they compared the 17-18 roster to this year's. That's where the focus should be but we've let Tilman sucker everyone into putting everything on the coach if we don't win.

Raja played for MDA. I understand questioning MDA's defensive prowess or over playing his starters. But many posters have been questioning MDA's offensive system. I've even read that he is a "dumb ass" and is weak because he won't force our players to run more traditional sets. I agree that this is completely different then what they ran in Phoenix, but he can speak to MDA's brilliance as an offensive mind.

    Raja Bell?

MOFO was one of the most boring players to ever play in the NBA. All he did was shoot 3's and foul people.

He should worry about the team he works for.... the Cavs are incredibly boring.

    I didn’t mind Raja’s POV...he’s rational

he doesn’t like to watch it, but he understands why we do what we do offensively...I can respect that

that was a much better convo than anything you’ll see on 1st Take, Undisputed, The Jump, etc

i know he played for MDA......this is not that System, this is Morey's system. Any coach we have has to run the same system. Threes and layups. It has been the same system for a lot of years now

It gets boring when there is no plan when Harden is off.

You could say the same for the championship Bulls and Michael Jordan.

Of course the Rockets will look terrible when their 40 million dollar man is off. No system will cure that.

This is not Morey's system. MDA has just tweaked his system to optimize Harden as well as Morey's philosophy.

This system is much more Moreys than it D’Antoni. I actually saw the suns system and the lakers system and this is nothing like those offense.

You are confusing philosophy with system.

McHale's and MDA system are not the same even though both systems follow Moreyball philosophy.

This dude in the pink shirt is such a d-bag. Always hating on Harden and Westbrook. He said he can't wait for the "meltdown" with the Rockets because it's coming.

If you are going to come on TV, do your homework.

Russ went bananas against the interior defense of Lakers and Jazz.

And on offense neither Davis, nor Gobert, really killed the Rockets.

This is the best the league has to offer for centers lol.

    They arent Hakeem or Shaq.

    Carry on.

Not only are Bigs now lesser post players than the Giants of the 90's. Wings are not used to playing that style. Who was the last team that was excelled at getting the post entry pass as soon as the big man got position? Maybe the Rockets with Yao or Orlando with Dwight. Then on top that, defenses can cheat before entry pass gets there without getting a Tech. It's a different game.
