He does like coaches like this though. He's not really a fan of coaches with established track records, he likes guys he can bully.

We hold onto things too long in this franchise. We held onto David Carr instead of signing Drew Brees. We held onto Schaub instead of signing Manning. And now we're holding onto BO'B instead of getting Bieniemy. As he contemplates leaving KC to go coach Colorado .. I have no doubt the line for his coaching services next year will grow exponentially. I'm just not sure any coach would want to work in such a mediocre franchise, that is the Houston Texans.

Lets see how he does being a head coach for the first time before you crown him. Some guys are made to be coordinators, not saying he is but let's see if he sinks or swims first

You are idiot. If you open the Texans job right now, there would be a line of head coaches around NRG (hanging out with cows and horses at the rodeo). Texans job: Large Market without the scrutiny of New York, LA, Chicago, or Boston. You have your QB, team won 4 of the last 5 division titles, the ownership has been willing to spend on players and facilities, and the owners are patient. A Head Coach’s DREAM.

    *You are an idiot.
If you're going to call someone an idiot, let's get grammatically correct about it.

Didn’t Martin and Mercilus get new deals during the season? His 3rd takeaway seems kinda strange given the 2nd takeaway.

Jaguars.com's John Oehser "expects" CB A.J. Bouye to be released.
Oehser also expects Marqise Lee and DT Marcell Dareus to be released for salary-cap reasons. The 28-year-old corner is due $15.437 million in the new league year, saving Jacksonville $11.4 million on their books by outright shedding him. Bouye performed admirably across from Jalen Ramsey in '18 but took a big step back last year, permitting team-highs in receptions (52) and receiving yards (772) in coverage. Dareus is expendable if only for his $22.5 million club option due in 2020

You want to know why people don't respect your posting? The dude wasn't talking to you and you start a reply with "You are idiot". Why is he not entitled to his opinion without a personal attack?

He ain't wrong. The team holds on too long. The McNair's had said early on that they wanted to emulate the Steelers who never fire anyone. Casserly was here too long. Capers was here too long. Carr was here too long. Smith was here too long. BO'B has been here WAAAAAAAAYYYY too long. Maybe you're right, too, that it would be a sought after job but it doesn't change the fact that the FO is too slow to react to changes that are obvious to everyone else.

There's a near 100% chance BOB will see this as a way to right a Smith wrong (or, cover his tracks and make it appear to be a Smith wrong) and signs Bouye, 3 years too late when his best football is behind him. Yea?...

Right? Although I wouldn’t mind bringing Bouye back considering he is still relatively young. But man how many good/elite defensive players has this franchise let walk out the door in their prime? I understand money was the issue but their replacements have been complete failures, some straight laughable.

    Quin - Ed Reed
    Bouye - Kevin Johnson
Honey Badger - Tayshaun Gipson (TBD)
    Clowney - Mingo/Martin/Blackson

Offensive linemen, too. And it's probably just a coincidence that OL and defense are our far and away biggest needs.

It's no coincidence. Those positions wouldn't have been used as examples if they weren't ultimately "biggest needs". Your observation is about the poster, not the team.

OK?..... It's about the team making poor decisions with personnel and having to now pay the price.

The OL was a whole other clusterf*ck with the Duane Brown saga and Brooks hating BoB. And that's on top of horrible scouting and coaching. With the defense, you can argue that Honey Badger wasn't a great fit, but the rest seemed to have been purely monetary decisions.
